Speedy deletion nomination of The Sparrow and His Four Children[edit]

Ok, no problem. Still very new to this. I just completed a new English a translation of the entire 1812 Kinder und Hausmärchen - cover-to-cover. So I have a lot of material available. Trying to see what to add, how to add it, etc. I can try and post all my material for story #35 (1812) in the sandbox and see if it is appropriate.

Hello GRFN1,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Sparrow and His Four Children for deletion, because it's too short to identify the subject of the article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. --Richard Yin (talk) 15:23, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please add context[edit]

Thanks for filling in more gaps on Grimm's fairy tales but can you please add context. Your recent creation The Sparrow and His Four Children doesn't contain anything that says it is one of the tales so most readers are just going to see a couple of random sentences without having the faintest idea what the article is about. Nthep (talk) 15:23, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

And the nomination above is evidence of what happens when you don't put articles into context. I have fixed it this time. Nthep (talk) 15:33, 2 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, User:GRFN1/sandbox[edit]

Hello, GRFN1. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "sandbox".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by one of two methods (don't do both): 1) follow the instructions at WP:REFUND/G13, or 2) copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|User:GRFN1/sandbox}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, and click "Save page". An administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 00:00, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
