File source and copyright licensing problem with File:HLIAM.JPG[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:HLIAM.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 23:13, 28 January 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ww2censor (talk) 23:13, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add content (particularly if you change facts and figures), as you have to the article Waste Management (album), please cite a reliable source for the content you're adding or changing. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. - SummerPhD (talk) 05:05, 29 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Stop[edit]

I note that you're creating a bunch of pages in your userspace about your fictional music career.

Stop that at once. Wikipedia is not a free web host; the pages are going to have to be deleted.

You have until this upcoming Friday to save any information you might want to keep; after that I'm going through and deleting them all. You can make things easier by tagging the pages with {{db-u1}} once you're ready to have them deleted.

If you find the Wikipedia interface useful, you can download a free copy of the MediaWiki software. DS (talk) 01:43, 22 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article Greatest hits (t.A.T.u. Album) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Likely a hoax. Future/unreleased albums are not notable without substantial coverage in independent reliable sources.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File copyright problem with File:SomNZCD1.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:SomNZCD1.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILYsock(TALK) 05:42, 27 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:InThisWhiteRobe/3Words, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/User:InThisWhiteRobe/3Words and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of User:InThisWhiteRobe/3Words during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion.
