Welcome![edit]

Hello, JamesJoyce1882, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

With reference to your edit at Skateboarding - the information you have added is both informative and well-sourced. But I'm concerned it might be a little academic, especially when compared to the rest of the article which is not very academic at all. I can have a go a re-wording it a little bit, but I thought you might like the opportunity to do that yourself. I certainly won't revert it or deleted it - the content is certainly worth having there.

Beyond that, I noticed your edits are mostly in the area of extreme sports and related topics. Though it is just one sport, you might consider joining a WikiProject like the Skateboarding WikiProject. We're a group of Wikipedia editors who spend time focussing on edits to skateboarding-related articles. But otherwise, always feel free to ask me any questions about anything - happy to help where I can. Welcome to Wikipedia! Stalwart111 12:35, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
