You know, for a long time I've wondered if Los da Mystro and Carlos McKinney really are one and the same person - the Grammy award winning producer was also a jazz musician in the 1990s, studied at the Center for Creative Studies from the age of five, and began college at the New School at age thirteen? We're crystal clear that this is the same person? Everything I know about the person who is the subject of this article comes out of a jazz encyclopedia, which says nothing about his later career in production.
