A tag has been placed on Amped Games requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Please do not add content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did to Armbrust. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. ROG5728 (talk) 20:17, 6 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Undoing your own edits[edit]

Hi,
I see that you have used Undo when you have changed your mind about something.
That's ok, but it makes you look like a user who needs to be undone.
So, still click Undo, but now delete the default description line that comes up automatically.
Just a suggestion. Cheers, Varlaam (talk) 11:46, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

P.S.
You should also create a user page at some point, since having your name appear in red makes you look a little less serious.

File source and copyright licensing problem with File:Saan Man Sulok ng Daigdig-1964.jpg[edit]

File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Saan Man Sulok ng Daigdig-1964.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 13:16, 29 October 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 13:16, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Ballad of a Soldier[edit]

Hi, It's been a very long time since I last saw that film.
Anyway, titles in the list should be italicized. They should also be listed in alphabetical order.
I realize that that is not always the case right now; however, that is the standard which I have been retrofitting into the list for months.
Thanks for all the additions to the list, Varlaam (talk) 21:40, 2 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Güldene Bäumchen[edit]

I suspect that would be a case of someone deleting it, and someone else putting it back.
The items on that page are quite prone to that problem.
I compiled the list, but I don't have the time, or the energy, to reconfirm those details regularly.

Also, since I know you are a serious editor, I will tell you that I intentionally left holes in that list.
I wanted to create opportunities for other people to have something to contribute.
(This is why I generally support Trivia sections in WP, since it allows non-specialists to add information, rather than vandalizing what is already there.)
So, in many cases, where the film link is "missing", it exists.
I just left it blank, so someone else could get excited about that list.

Urda[edit]

We can't copy text from another part of WP and pretend that we wrote it ourselves.
That description should be shorter and in our own words.
Don't forget; if someone thinks that film sounds interesting, he will go and read the full article or watch the movie.

Alpha sorts[edit]

Thank you for taking up the challenge of alpha sorting.

But we want to make sure that we are on the same page with that.

We want to do real English alphabetical sorting, not the type of sort you get on a computer when it looks at the ASCII values of the characters.

If a title begins with "...", then that, or any other punctuation, is ignored. If a title begins with a number, we think of it as words. How you would actually pronounce the title in a conversation. So "100" becomes "one hundred" for sorting.

English articles are ignored, "the" and "a(n)". I personally, if it were my private list, would also ignore foreign language articles too, le/la/les, un/une, etc. But not everybody is good with foreign languages.

So what should we do with those? Ignore or not?

Soldiers and guerrillas[edit]

Hi, You are the expert in this area.
I asked a guy where I can find Filipino WWII films here in Toronto, and he told me, but I haven't had time to go and look. Now that it's Christmas, maybe I'll have time.
As I recall, the "soldiers and" came from IP addresses. Maybe 2 different guys. Because of the strange nature of the edits, it could be 1 guy and 2 IPs. You know how to see what city the guys are in?
You could nicely ask these guys what they mean.
It's not vandalism. Those look like good faith edits, but these guys are confused, or something.
If you leave them a friendly note, then they will probably get frightened and leave the page alone.
Just an idea. Merry Christmas, Varlaam (talk) 19:27, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Japanese occupation[edit]

Hi,
Thanks to your contributions, mostly, we now use that lookup a lot.
Why don't you add Japanese occupation of the Philippines to the common topics list at the top, then we don't need to use that precise, long phrase every time down below?

Disambiguation link notification for October 21[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2015 FIBA Asia Championship, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Sun Star.
