Your recent edits[edit]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 02:05, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok i NEED help....[edit]

I want to "upgrade" my writing skills, so i'm not entirely sure how i make an article.... Can sum 1 help me?--Kayla4858 (talk) 02:22, 4 October 2011 (UTC)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Kayla4858[reply]
Hey Kayla, if you need help you can put {{help me}} or ask it at the helpdesk, but Id be willing to help you for now. Btw, when typing a Wikipedia article, it is frowned upon to indent your paragraphs. However, there are a few exeptions. such as when you are on a talk page, such as this, put : before the text you wish to be indented, to type a response (such as this). Ask below any more questions, and I plan on quickly adding information. When you do indent it will result in an ugly box, such as above. If you want the box, you can add a space
like this

or put
example
tags around it. To link to other Wikipedia article, youd add [[]] around it. You only want to link some words, not plain English words. If on a article about fruit, you may want to link banana, but not the, as that gets annoying. Also, it is confusing for some people if you have two articles linked closeby, such as German Olympics. They link to different Wikipedia articles, but are close together, with only a space separating them, leading readers to thinking it will link to a single article, not different articles for each word. mysterytrey talk 03:35, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

There are some California libraries listed. You might contact one of those organizers, as they will be much closer to you. I am in the Midwest. Also, I am not very active on Wikipedia right now. I do admire your desire to improve your writing, and wish you the best. Jonathunder (talk) 22:38, 4 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Second answer...[edit]

Hallo Kayla4858, I read your request in Talk:Help desk. I posted above one of our welcome messages with all the most important links for new Wikipedia editors. I hope is not too overwhelming. but the most important things to start with are here: Help:Editing. There is a video too that should be quite helpful. If you have special question you can ask me on my talk page - just click on "(talk)" next to my name in my signature. I will try to answer even if I'm not a super expert. Have fun! --Dia^ (talk) 20:47, 5 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Small tip...[edit]
