DYK for Ss. Boris and Gleb Cathedral, Daugavpils[edit]

RlevseTalk 06:03, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. I've declined the speedy deletion on this again. Regarding the first decline: I don't think it is advisable to nominate an article at AfD, withdraw the nomination once there have been a couple of keep !votes, and then nominate the article for speedy deletion a few days later. That seems to me to be common sense: we don't need an explicit guideline for it. --Mkativerata (talk) 21:54, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Congrats for your new role as an admin :) Can I ask you a question? Do you think this article is likely to survive AfD? Maashatra11 (talk) 22:04, 10 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

DYK nom for Mikhail Khilkov[edit]

I left a comment on WP:TDYK page - it needs different sources or a twist of the hook. Right now neither source backs up the hook. User:DonaldDuck notified, too. East of Borschov 20:31, 13 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oh well, it's now removed just after I found a curious hook:
Did you know that the Russian minister of railroads Mikhail Khilkov had to travel from Moscow to Saint Petersburg by horse carriage because his railroad was paralyzed by a general strike? East of Borschov 23:00, 14 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Colette Magny, a page you created has not been edited in at least 180 days. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace. If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements. If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13. Thank you for your attention. Your article submission Colette Magny[edit]

Hello Maashatra11. It has been over six months since you last edited your article submission, entitled Colette Magny.

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note, however, that Articles for Creation is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Colette Magny}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. HasteurBot (talk) 01:00, 8 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Art Jewelry Forum[edit]

Hello, I am working on a pet project to help digitize information about the field of metalsmithing+jewelry. I started with making a page for Art jewelry forum (AJF), and have a list of artists that I would like to make pages for as well. The AJF page has been nominated for deletion because it is questioned if the organization is "notable". I am reaching out to you because I saw that you edited some pages that relate to studio craft, and thought you may have an informed opinion (unlike the mathematician who nominated the page for deletion) about whether or not it is a "notable organization". If you have an opinion, one way or another, please way in on the articles for deletion discussion https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Art_jewelry_forumClarefinin (talk) 21:34, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Speedy deletion nomination of Damion[edit]

Hello Maashatra11,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Damion for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Atlantic306 (talk) 01:20, 22 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
