Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent contribution removed content from Big Brother 8 (US). Please be more careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Big Brother 8 (US)[edit]

I agree with you about HG's information. I've never added that information, in fact, I kept deleting that extra info before, but it keeps being added back. I finally gave up. It would be helpful though, to explain your edits in the edit summary. When information is deleted, especially a large amount, with no explanation, it may and can be reverted when editors are watching the history page. Also please sign your posts on talk pages. Thanks. Please use the article's talk page for discussion of concerns to reach a consensus. Thanks again. - Jeeny Talk 18:02, 21 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleting other's edits[edit]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Big Brother 8 (US). Your edits do not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please use the article's talk page to discuss your concerns/objections to allow other editors to have a say, and reach a consensus. - Jeeny Talk 03:22, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not delete content from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Big Brother 8 (US). While your edits maybe considered good faith, it's courteous to discuss your changes or use the edit summary more often when deleting large and multiple sections, so your edits have been reverted. Again, please use the article's talk page to discuss your concerns/objections to allow other editors to have a say, and reach a consensus. - Jeeny Talk 21:23, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Brother and Wikipedia[edit]

Please read some of the links in the welcome message above, they may help you understand more about how Wikipedia works. It will only be frustrating to you and others if you do not follow Wikipedia guidelines, and learn how it works, and what the project is about. Thanks at least for saying something on my talk. If you have many reasons for the deletions, as you say, others may agree with you, that is IF you decide to use the talk page. IF not, they will continue to be reverted for not adhering to policy. Thanks. - Jeeny Talk 21:42, 26 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This is your last warning.
The next time you delete or blank page contents or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Big Brother 8 (US), you will be blocked from editing. - Jeeny Talk 03:47, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. Wikipedia is not censored. Any further changes which have the effect of censoring an article, such as you did to Big Brother 8 (US), will be regarded as vandalism. If you continue in this manner, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. - Jeeny Talk 03:16, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I am not out to get you[edit]

I feel you are new. All of us have been new, and have made mistakes because there is so much to learn about Wikipedia. Even experienced editors make mistakes. Heck we all do from time to time, that's how we learn. The welcome message, warnings notices, and asking other editors to help are some of the ways to help new users understand Wikipedia. I don't understand your reluctance to compromise and discuss changes. Here's another link that may help you; Wikipedia:Resolving_disputes. - Jeeny Talk 07:36, 3 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Big Brother 8 (US) Infobox[edit]

Hey Melanie2408 I just wanted to ask that you do not change the "Head of Household" back to yellow or "legend3". Since that is used for houseguests who walk in other Big Brother season/series articles that are currently airing I am asking you not change it back. I know that there hasn't been anyone to walk out of the Big Brother USA house voluntary in past seasons but since there has been talk of a voluntary exit this season, please don't change the HoH back to yellow.

Plus "legend6" is used only in the {{Big Brother housemates}} template please use "legend6" for HoH since "legend3" is meant for houseguests who walk in the {{Big Brother endgame}} template. The reason we were using "legend3" prior to this week was because "legend6" did not exist until recently when there was a need for it. Alucard 16 04:14, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It was me who changed it back a time too. Like I said on the talk page, not in mid-season. It's confusing. Discussion was to leave it yellow. Thanks. - Jeeny Talk 17:57, 7 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous Users[edit]

I believe that if you put a warning on an anonymous user's page, it still pops up "New Messages" like it does for us. I try to put warnings on pages. I just did this one that was giving you a hard time earlier. [1] .

Hopefully they see it. - Rjd0060 20:29, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've tried sending messages to anonymous IPs' talk pages, and I have no clue if they see it. I sure hope though! Happy editing, zachinthebox (UserTalk) 22:09, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

August 2007[edit]

Hello. Please don't forget to provide an edit summary, which wasn't included with your recent edit to Big Brother 8 (US). Thank you. I know you do a lot of very GOOD work on Big Brother pages, but it would really help if you summarize. Rjd0060 17:11, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Melanie2408, just replying to a message you left on my talk. I tried to get at least 2 week protection for the article but they said "There is not enough recent disruptive activity to justify protection at this time. - I also see some constructive edits from anon editors there". And I have been trying to fix the all the US articles that say Housemates to HouseGuests when I catch it but sometimes I do overlook. I say let the anon users vandalize some more so we have a more solid foundation to get protection. ♪♫Alucard 16♫♪ 03:26, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Reversion[edit]

In [this edit], you reverted me, and installed a garbage string of characters into the article. Why?
