Hi, Nina. Thanks for your note. I did not personally delete the article - that was an admin - but I know I recommended it for deletion, so I'll answer your question about getting the content. If you read WP:DELETE, you'll find a paragraph about accessing deleted pages, which refers you to Wikipedia:Viewing_and_restoring_deleted_pages, which will also prompt you to go to Wikipedia:Undeletion_policy#Undeletion. Please read those, and then go to WP:UNDELETE. It serves two primary functions: the restoration of content deleted without discussion, and the userfication of content that is unfit for restoration. So, there you can ask that your article be "userfied". "This page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be userfied or emailed to you so the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace." You can also email an admin directly - the list is at CAT:UNDELETE.

Something else to remember - we did not say during the deletion discussion that the subject was off limits. I personally think the subject should actually be covered - but in a much more neutral point of view way. So my suggestion is that you put it in your sandbox and play with it for a while. Having your stuff deleted hurts - I know this - but taking the opportunity to improve it might be worth your while. Hope that helps a bit.Marikafragen (talk) 01:21, 9 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • Nina, thank you for participating. This and other articles appear to be part of an educational assignment. Is that so? And if so, who is the instructor? We'd like to know so we can be of better assistance. Please drop a line at the discussion thread linked above. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 14:59, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
