Friendly Chat[edit]

O.K. so I've never interacted with you before, but I ran into your page while checking out Brenneman's admin qualifications. I really enjoyed reading your user page, I found it and you very interesting. I'm glad there are people like you in Wiki. Take care Tony the Marine 06:19, 5 February 2006 (UTC) (P.S. I love that Talk Archeive Template that you have. Can you do that for me in my talk page?)[reply]

Yes...[edit]

..I am spoiled with such great wikifriends :D ! You're welcome regarding the award. Well, its good to have you back with us again! How am I? I'm doing ok now, (see VG's talk). As far as the userpage program goes, it succeded thanks to the work of many editors, especially you for nominating (and designing) so many of the candidates! Hope you enjoyed your wikibreak! Even though it was because of too much RL work :) . All the best Banez 17:57, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

Thanks for nominating my user page in the Esperanza election! — Moe ε 18:22, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Miss Phædriel[edit]

First off, let me say I love your name. How did you think it up? (Or does it, perhaps, come from a Comanche word?) And even though I deleted my earlier comments (to clear up confusion), they fit you too: Your taste is excellent, and your page conveys a dynamic personality. (I'm impressed you're writing your own book.) As to the confusion, I think I was browsing the userpage nom's in dire need of caffeine and simply couldn't understand why ViolinGirl's page came up when I was clicking your name. (It turns out that you were the nominator, and she was the nominee.) Now fully awake, I look forward to talking about page design sometime. Take care. - ElAmericano | talk 21:30, 5 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you![edit]

I would like to thank you for your support for my candidacy for the Military history WikiProject coordinator position. I am now the Lead Coordinator, and I intend to do my best to continue improving the project. If you ever have any questions or concerns regarding my actions, or simply new ideas for the project, be sure to let me know! —Kirill Lokshin 00:08, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cheers[edit]

I don't wanna overdo it or anything, so here's just a brief note thanking you for supporting me in the WikiProject Military history coordinator elections. Cheers, and I hope I can please as Assistant Coordinator! --Loopy e 01:26, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

Thank you for kind words! I have a question for you. I believe in fair use images being able to be used anywhere on Wikipedia as long as they are modified in some way, others don't, but that's not the big deal -- some people who have disagreed with me have been jerks(if you look at my talk page, you can see a few). I loathe nasty people, and this whole issue isn't a big deal to me, but I may keep at it just to hassle the nasty people. What do you think? Karmafist 02:39, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, and btw, I'd be honored if you wanted to renovate my user page :-) Karmafist 02:41, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No rush, and thank you for adding your kindness to our minisociety, i'm glad you're around :-) Karmafist 04:20, 6 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RFA[edit]

My admin request went up in flames. (But thanks anyways!)
Hey, Phaedriel, I wanted to thank you for your support of my (unfortunately unsuccessful) request for adminship. The final tally was 37/16/5, which fell short of the needed 75-80% for "consensus". I'll admit, I had no idea that ordinary users were supposed to edit talk pages. Oops! In any case, your kind words were very much appreciated. I don't know if or when I'll go up for nomination again, but even if I don't I will try not to betray the trust that you and 36 others were willing to place in me. Thanks for having faith in me... and happy editing! Matt Yeager (Talk?) 00:02, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Redesign request for User:Lar[edit]

WikiThanks
WikiThanks
Hi, first off, here's a flower, you seem one of the nicest people around! Second... "love what you've done to the place", wonder if you'd be willing to give my user pages a once over? I'm actually more concerned about the talk page, the top part is very messy, all that stuff is important but it gets lost, and the archive links are completely lost in the clutter... I like the idea of archiving by topic (all the thanks for your admin support type messages would go to one archive and so forth)... LMK what you think! Even advice is helpful, I can crib from other pages if you say "I think what I did for user X is more what you need than what I did for user Y"... thanks! ++Lar: t/c 16:26, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Joke's RfA[edit]

Hi Phaedriel, thanks for voting and for your kind comments in my (successful) RfA. All the voters who voted neutral or oppose had the same criticism – lack of involvement in the Wikipedia namespace. This is nice, because it is a weakness that I can endeavor to fix. Although I don't think I have the disposition or diligence to be actively involved with, say, VfD, I've recently started to participate in the Featured Article discussions and will start participating in some policy discussions now that I am starting to grasp the way the project runs. –Joke 16:55, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have marked Image:Girting.jpg that you uploaded as lacking source information that could be used to verify it's PD claim. Please provide source information and a more specific PD tag as explained in the PD tag currently on the image. Once this is done the no source tag can be removed. Thanks. --Martyman-(talk) 22:27, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

RFA[edit]

Hi, just wanted to thank you for voting on my RFA, which went through with a count of (58/0/1), far better than I'd expected. I intend to take things slowly and start using the extra abilities gradually, but if there's anything I can do just leave a message. Cheers, CTOAGN (talk) 13:54, 7 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Much thanks on visual tweaks[edit]

How kind of you to play a bit with my user page. I'll copy over yours... maybe I'll play with it a little more. It might be fun to have something a little bit more off-kilter or intriguing... if you feel like playing around more, that would be cool. But if you don't, not to worry, it's great. All the best, Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 02:46, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Btw. In case you're interested, I played with it a little bit more, starting with your stuff. I think my user page looks moderately distinctive now. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 05:10, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I added a little thanks and a few words to your comment on my user talk. Lulu of the Lotus-Eaters 02:41, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi I'm back again. Thank you for your kind words, you made my day. Yes, please do that template on my talk archieves. My problem[edit]

Hey Phaedriel, I wanted to talk to you about my personal problem but I'm not sure if on Wikipedia is the best place. I don't know of another way to contact you, any suggestions? — Moe ε 04:59, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My RfA[edit]

Thank you for your support on my request for adminship, even though it came from a Sooner . It ultimately succeeded with votes of 52/1/2, so I am now an administrator. Should you have any questions, comments, complaints, or requests at any point in the future, please do not hesitate to let me know on my talk page or via e-mail.

Francs2000 userpage[edit]

Francs2000 is a bit stressed out, and I was going to do a little fix on his userpage by getting rid of that extra white space around the various pictures there. Achille did this for me on one of my pages using this template that he created. Despite my attempts, I can't figure out how to get it to work properly. If you want, I'd appreciate if you gave it a shot and tell me how you did it ;-). Francs invites us to improve his page, but I was going to start out with just a small fix. Thanks. NoSeptember talk 16:40, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I like it. Well done. Now I will go and study the diff to see how you did it, which is how I learn how to do most of the formatting here. Thanks for doing this so quickly even though you have a userpage waiting list and a new wikiproject in the works. :-) NoSeptember talk 00:50, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

My problem is "solved"[edit]

Uhh.. hey Phaedriel. I never got in contact with you before but I went ahead and told her I liked her before Valentine's Day. I'd rather not discuss the rest.... :-( — Moe ε 20:46, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Design[edit]

Hi, I just found your page and I see you do user-page design! well I would like to know what you could do for mine. I can't promise I will like it, but I am willing to see! Lots of pretty flowers, --Kash 22:24, 8 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Painting by Obed Gomez

I just received that gift and I loved it. You know sometimes you may feel down with the people in this project but, then I run into someone like you and I tell myself "Life is Good". Here is a gift for you. It is a painting that I really like. Notice the patriotic rooster, cool right? I also wrote the article about the artist. O.K., Big Kisses for you too! Hi![edit]

Three things:

  1. How are you?
  2. Nice picture of you and your boyfriend. You look almost as cute together as my girlfriend and I do. ;)
  3. And I've got a problem with my userpage: For some reason, everything below the infobox doesn't show up in the right box any longer, but rather below both boxes... I don't really know what the problem is. scratches head

Take care! —Nightstallion (?) 08:07, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The pic[edit]

Dear Phaedriel:Thank you very much for fixing the pic for me! I was hesitant to come and bother you again, thats why I asked in the edit summary :) Thank you (that must bring the number of thank yous you've had from me to about 80) for taking the time to fix it up. But there are two things: My two white userboxes have no borders, can you help me there? The second: Is it possible for me to put the picture (a little bigger) where the userboxes now are and the userboxes in the big blue space just below? If you don't have time, or anything, don't worry, please. Thanks again Banez 20:51, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There is absolutey no hurry on the request, experiment all you need to. But please don't let it drag you away from anything important. About the dedication: It was so sweet, and yes, in Afrikaans too :) . The only mistake in the afrikaans was using the efeminate word for "friend", so it read as "girlfriend" :D . Thank you for everything and should you ever need me, for admin stuff or whatever, please don't hesitate!) All the best Banez 21:34, 9 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]

TheMadBaron[edit]

Saw you tagged the Baron for the Indg. ppl project. Allow me to give you some advice - if he doesn't respond in a few days, hunt him down and get him, he is a great editor, works incredibly well with others, shows sound judgment, and is generally an asset. Strongly recommend him. KillerChihuahua?!? 01:13, 11 February 2006 (UTC)[reply]
