Hello. I was the editor on all 8 seasons of "Girlfriends". Evan Ross appeared, uncredited, in episode 171. He plays a record producer, and has multiple lines of dialogue. I am not sure how you want me to verify this; I just checked youtube and only the very end of the episode (a scene with Crissette Michelle and Persia White) is posted. Season 8 isn't on DVD yet, so I cannot grab a screen shot. I am not sure what I can do other than say that I was the editor and he was in the show. Phatnblak (talk) 02:54, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Found a page from the New York Times. He was uncredited on screen, but the Times apparently knew he was on because they list him in the episode. I'll go ahead and add part of what you originally instated into the article. As far as him playing a record producer, that will have to stay out of the article until it can be verified. Regarding your post... My review was one which was supposed to be done when the page was created - I've been clearing the backlog on that process. What I check for with that is that the page is something sensible, and has been tagged with any major issues (e.g. lack of citations). The process also the place to flag anything blatently non-notable. At first glance, this article was of intermediate notability, so there was no need to flag it as part of page curation. Now, clearly other people then came along, and that led to it being examined more closely and deleted. Kind of a shame, given all the work that's gone it.
