Removed the "You have messages box"[edit]

RAMA,

I just removed the simulated "You have messages box" per this page. What it says is that Wiki frown on simulating any Mediawiki interface (like the "YOu have messages" user box). I will tell you this isn't written in stone, it's frowned on. What that means for you is that you could restore it, but remember that someone else may remove it for the same reason. I won't. I'll respect whatever decision you come to on that message box. See you around. ~Kosh~

You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
