Missouri cutout shield PNGs[edit]

All uploaded by User:Rt66lt. Orphaned, and the pages they belonged to have been merged into oblivion.   • I'm converting this to fair use in the Meissner effect article, removing it from non-article namespace and requesting its delisting as a featured picture. Maybe this will be a satisfactory alternative to deletion. I would withdraw my nomination, but I'd prefer to hear other opinions on keeping the image.       • That's a shame if it isn't fully free, as it was a nice "wow" image for the Physics lead. It is worth pointing out that I uploaded Image:Meissner Crop.jpg to the commons as a specifically sized crop of this image a couple of years ago so it will need to go, I have attached a copyvio tag to it.         • I agree that it's a shame to lose it, but if it's non-free and ineligible for fair use, it has to go. Perhaps someday we may be able to persuade the lab to freely license the image. It has now been delisted as a featured pic, removed from the non-article namespaces and is now orphaned, so should qualify for speedy deletion. The result of the discussion was: The following eight images were moved to February 5 because it looks as if the uploaders were not notified. This seems to be some kind of technical issue that cleared after these nominations -Nv8200p talk 02:22, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
