  • curprev 22:1322:13, 24 February 2024Crossroads talk contribs 380,629 bytes +38 Fatality rate template is nearly a year out of date and is itself marked as inactive due to end of JHU dashboard - therefore added time specificity and "needs update" tag. However, this will likely need to remain split by time somehow due to the large changes over the course of the pandemic and the difference between, say, 2020 when there were few treatment and no immunity, and 2024 where there are many vaccines, treatments, and previous infections.

  • curprev 22:0522:05, 24 February 2024Crossroads talk contribs 380,020 bytes −42 Boldly removing case count from lead paragraph. Almost any source explains that the true case count is far, far higher, because of lack of testing, especially in the later years of the pandemic. The case count given is therefore false precision and worse than useless. Hopefully someone can later add a source estimating the true number or proportion of world infected.
