The statement was factually incorrect for the following reasons: 1) The source cited was in turkish which indicates that the use of the alternate timezone was practiced by the turkish occupied northern part of the island, which is not internationally recognized (except by Turkey who is the occupier) 2) The internationally recognized government of Cyprus never switched timezones. undo Tag: Visual edit
