By design, SFRs do not contain water or air within the reactor due to its chemical and neutronic effects on the SFR design. "Typical" reactors, which a layperson would likely identify as LWRs (PWR/BWR) do contain water within the reactor as a coolant/moderator, but no air. These are fundamentally different designs and should be treated as such. undo
