This is User:2tuntony. I hope you can understand why I am loathe to trust any Wikipedia administrator at this point. However, you do appear to be one of the good ones. As you can see, my block has been increased to "indefinite" (which I suppose means "permanent"), and my talk page access has been restricted (largely making it "permanent" by default, as I can't use the page to request to be unblocked). I have made many good contributions here. I have done nothing to disrupt any articles, and I don't see how I have "disrupted" the project with a message on my talk page. I admit that it may seem offensive, but the administrator who blocked me himself has the words "go fuck yourself" written on his talk page. another administrator has a picture of herself with her middle finger raised on her user page. As usual, I guess that's OK because they're admins, to whom the rules don't apply. I placed the template on my page out of frustration. I have twice; once by an administrator, been accused of "edit warring" by users who had made a number of reverts equal to mine to the page in question. Somehow, in each case, I was "edit warring", while the other user, who's behavior was literally identical to mine, was apparently following the rules. I placed the template there not to be offensive, but to let people know that I will not tolerate hypocracy. And this seems to be yet another double standard, which I find extremely frustrating. However, with that having been said, if the template is the sticking point here, I will agree to not put it back if I am unblocked. If that is not possible, could you at least unblock my talk page, so that I may continue to adress this matter? Thank you for your time! User:2tuntony.

Take another look

Could you please take another look at the Arie Rip article, which has had improvements since you voted in the deletion discussion? SilverserenC 21:45, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. As you recently commented in the straw poll regarding the ongoing usage and trial of Pending changes, this is to notify you that there is an interim straw poll with regard to keeping the tool switched on or switching it off while improvements are worked on and due for release on November 9, 2010. This new poll is only in regard to this issue and sets no precedent for any future usage. Your input on this issue is greatly appreciated. Off2riorob (talk) 23:37, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Brett Beavers

Thanks much for the Brett Beavers article. You really do know how to do a first draft. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Otters want attention) 04:30, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

WikiCup 2010 September newsletter

We are half-way through our final round, entering the home straight. New Orleans TonyTheTiger (submissions) leads at the time of writing with 1180 points, immediately followed by Hungary Sasata (submissions) with 1175 points. Colorado Sturmvogel_66 (submissions) closely follows in third place with 1100 points. For those who are interested, data about the finalists has been compiled at Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/finalists, while a list of content submitted by all WikiCup contestants prior to this round has been compiled at Wikipedia:WikiCup/History/2010/Submissions. As ever, anything contestants worry may not receive the necessary attention before the end of the round (such as outstanding GA or FA nominations) is welcome at Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews, and please remember to continue offering reviews yourself where possible. As always, the judges are available to contact via email, IRC or their talk pages, and general discussion about the Cup is welcome on the WikiCup talk page.

Despite controversy, the WikiCup remains open. Signups for next year's competition are more than welcome, and suggestions for how next year's competition will work are appreciated at Wikipedia talk:WikiCup/Scoring. More general comments and discussions should be directed at the WikiCup talk page. One month remains in the 2010 WikiCup, after which we will know our champion. Good luck everyone! If you wish to start receiving or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove yourself from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send. You offered your help
