Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't mods usually give out warnings first before they start handing out excessive punishments that exceed 24 hours? == Deletion review for template ==
Hello. As per step #1 of WP:DRV I would like to ask you to review your deletion of uw-mos3. This was essentially a stealth nomination, as the person who sent it to TfD failed to put either a tfd tag on the template itself, or even a note on the talk page. (I could well be wrong, but when I reviewed the deleted template and corresponding talk page, I did not see any edits.) If no one watching the template knew it was up for deletion, there is no way we could have registered our opposition to it. Thank you for your time and consideration, — Kralizec! (talk) 18:37, 26 December 2010 (UTC)

If you are interested in trying Kissle, edit the dedicated "requests" section below. Please leave bug reports and feature requests on this page. Thanks.
My off-wiki communications policy: I prefer, to the extent possible, that all communications regarding a Wikimedia matter be done on-wiki for the sake of transparency. If there is a compelling reason why it should be done off-wiki, you may email me or talk to me on IRC, but:
For IRC, timely, prompt, or indeed any response is not guaranteed. I stay on IRC even if I am away. If you do not get a response, you may simply send your entire inquiry (i.e., instead of "may I ask a question", ask the question!), in which case I'll treat it like emails when I come back to my computer.
For emails, I will try to respond as soon as I can, but real-life work obviously must take precedence, and it is easy for incoming emails to get lost after a few days. If you don't get a response within a few days, try leaving me a message on my talk page.
In all cases, I will respond on-wiki unless there is a compelling reason not to or you explicitly request that I keep it off-wiki. In the latter case, I reserve the right to not respond at all to the message.
Please do not send private or confidential information; those should be directed to the Arbitration Committee.
Reason: Per WP:MILMOS#NOTE, only recipients of the highest national award (in this case the Medal of Honor) are automatically notable; I'm unable to find any reliable sources on this subject other than the citation.
At this festive time, I would like to say a very special thank you to my fellow editors, and take the time to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. And, in case you can't wait until the big day, I've left you each three special presents, click to unwrap :) Acather96 (talk) 10:10, 24 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
31 hours is too much
Hi. My block from editing Wikipedia recently expired. After a single (though non-constructive) edit to a Wikipedia article, with no previous history of vandalism, I was blocked for a period of 31 hours.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't mods usually give out warnings first before they start handing out excessive punishments that exceed 24 hours? I think you were being way too harsh, personally. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.174.255.73 (talk) 16:30, 26 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
