Kevin Pereira (December 28, 1982[1]) is co-host of G4's Attack of the Show! (formerly The Screen Savers) with Olivia Munn.[citation needed]

Biography

Kevin was born in San Leandro, California. His mother, Maite Pereira, is an elementary school teacher in Emeryville, California. While at high school, Pereira hosted Pointless Audio under the pseudonym Captain Immy. The show featured many prank calls and was hosted on such gaming sites as Penny Arcade and ShugaShack (now ShackNews); it later evolved into Pointless TV, and finally LickMySweaty.com.[citation needed]

Contrary to prior belief, he does not describe himself as a "history buff", "especially about World War II", and is also not a collector of war antiques. His MySpace states that he is interested in Hentai, among other things.[citation needed]

His breakout onto the scene of showbiz was on (the network now called) G4's Arena as a co-host where he quickly moved to the network's other show, The Screen Savers in 2004[1]. Kevin Periera was a cohost of G4's Attack of the Show! and is the only AOTS member still on the show, especially after G4's May 2004 Merger. He currently hosts the show with Olivia Munn.

In high school, he was very active on the physical scene as well as in theater, participating in the school's basketball and soccer teams, track and field, and briefly playing football as half back on his school's freshmen team. He instead decided to pursue a career in television, attending the Academy of Arts College in San Francisco, where he studied screenwriting and film production. He soon dropped out of school (which he jokes about often on the show), and enrolled at the Epicurean School of Culinary Arts in Los Angeles. He quit after one semester, and soon found his way to G4.[citation needed]

On January 25, 2007, he and Olivia Munn referenced to their Wikipedia pages, criticizing their false information and gross assumptions(Many of which are still on this page). A few minutes later, fans watching Attack of the show edited the page in a barrage of lies along the lines of: Kevin being a woman in drag, enjoys hunting whales, and being superior to Chuck Norris. This caused Wikipedia to semi-protect the page from editing by new users or those without an account.

Pereira has hosted or been a guest on many other programs besides Attack of the Show!, including:[citation needed]
