Lairon (コドラ, Kodora in original Japanese language versions) is one of the Template:Pokenum fictional species of Pokémon from the Pokémon Franchise - a series of video games, anime, manga, books, trading cards and other media created by Satoshi Tajiri.

The name Lairon is derived from the word "iron", and possibly the word "lair", as its Pokédex entries reference to it being a Pokémon that is very territorial in guarding its lair. It is also very 'lairy' as described in the Hoenn Pokédex.

Lairon first appears in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and is the second form in the Aron evolutionary line. It evolves from Aron, and eventually evolves into Aggron.

In the card game

Lairon has appeared in the following sets, mainly as a Metal type card, but sometimes as a fighting type.

  • EX Ruby and Sapphire (2 cards)
  • EX Sandstorm
  • EX Team Magma vs Team Aqua (as Team Magma's Lairon) (2 cards)
