==Welcome back...==
Bravo Hornetman16… I’m surprised it’s taken as long as it has for anyone to realize it’s been you all along. I come back after a month long absence and see a *new* user come up to my talk page to try and rally me to support you in a little dispute you had. Shame on you Aaron, you should know by now that once you get blocked, creating socks to continue editing is the last thing you should do. A community ban was already made against you. Monnitewars. Welcome. In response to your question, I actually have forgotten how I made my signature. However, there is a place where a user makes signatures. Thanks, and happy editing. Cheers,JetLover (Report a mistake) 03:51, 30 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

TBA/TBD

Actually, "TBD" is the correct term to use. The opponent will be determined in a match tomorrow night, hence "to be determined". IF we didn't know any possible opponents, then "TBA" would be correct. I can't revert your change back without risking getting in trouble, so all I did was fix the link ("To be announced" redirects to "To be determined", so just avoiding a redirect). User boxes

WP:UBX. It says how you can make your own userbox (I created the one on my page about preferring HD DVD over Blu-ray Disc) and has links to hundreds of userboxes. TJ Spyke 05:21, 2 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for undoing your legit removal of a dead link there, I probably should have checked for that reason first before undoing your edit. I have since replaced the dead link with the live one. Next time though, for the sake of those (like me) who might not think the link is dead and undo your edit please leave a simple edit summary saying that your removing it because the link is dead. Thanks :-). Regards, Bmg916Speak 18:42, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

http://www.wwe.com/subscriptions/wwetunes/wrecklessintent/tracks/ clearly shows the correct tracks. Next time check things, before changing the article around. RobJ1981 13:28, 5 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on WWE Wreckless Intent. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. —C.Fred (talk) 04:40, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WP:IAR

You cite WP:IAR way too much. Please read over WP:WIARM before you cite it anymore. WP:PW has gotten in a ton of trouble in the past for overuse of WP:IAR, so we are trying to phase out its use entirely. BTW, I think that I may have come across too harshly in the past. I apologize, and I ask that you allow me to introduce myself. I am (cue Val Venis' theme song)...The Hybrid. So, how are you doing? The Hybrid 05:04, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from SummerSlam (2007). Please be careful when editing pages and do not remove content from Wikipedia without a good reason, which should be specified in the edit summary. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please do not remove as it had a valid source. KipSmithers T/C 20:46, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have been temporarily blocked for violation of the three-revert rule. Please feel free to return after the block expires, but also please make an effort to discuss your changes further in the future.

The duration of the block is 31 hours. Here are the reverts in question. Nishkid64 (talk) 23:22, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do not have anything against you. I don't mean to come across as egotistical, but I know that I will so I guess that I'll just be frank. I have been a major player in WP:PW for some time now; I know what I'm doing. The edits that you're making are not good edits; rather, they are counterproductive. I do not have anything against you; I am simply enforcing the policies. That is what tis boils down to, your understanding of policy is incomplete. WP:IAR is meant to be used as a last resort, or as a license to use common sense when two policies contradict each other on a situation and it is impossible to hold a discussion to determine the consensus. It is not supposed to be the standard rational for your edits under any circumstance. If a policy forbids something, then you don't do it, period; you do not say, "Well, I'm going to ignore the rules because I'm right and the rule is wrong." That is the problem that I have with your edits; note that I said your edits, not you. I even went to bat for you when someone suggested reporting you to the administrators. I made somewhat similar mistakes when I first got here, so I understand your frustration. I am willing to help you learn the ropes, but first you need to admit that what you are doing is disruptive and needs to change. The Hybrid 23:34, 6 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:M.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:M.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. KipSmithers T/C 22:26, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RE: Glen Jacobs

It was announced? My bad then. Thanks for pointing that out. But as you said, it still shouldn't be there as it isn't particularly notable, and is also an announced match that has not yet occurred. Bmg916Speak 20:26, 9 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wouldn't think so, not unless they win the titles. But we'll see after it airs. Bmg916Speak 00:00, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Jim Ross

It was after the PPV went off the air. Him and the other announcers were waiting for Triple H to be helped up the stage. Mshake3 17:47, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on the AfD on the List of LGBT people, and your edits in general

BTW, you are doing a much better job following the policies than you did at first. You're on the fast track to a very enjoyable and successful Wiki career. However, and take this from someone who failed an RfA that I should have had in the bag because of this, going out of your way to make an impact will tear you apart. It will make you lose your temper, and just make your Wiki time unenjoyable. If you just sit back, and take your time, eventually you will make an impact "naturally". It will just happen on its own if you let it. Of course, I'm assuming that you are trying to make an impact; if you aren't then my apologies. Either way stay with the AfDs, as they are a great place to learn not only about the policies, but about how this community "works". I put works in quotation marks because some would argue that it doesn't :P. Peace, The Hybrid T/C 13:03, 11 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RR 08

I don't think that "subject to change" note needs to be there. That is pretty much a standard line in every contest (just so that if they do change it, people won't be able to sue them by saying WWE lied). TJ Spyke 04:05, 12 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Replaceable fair use Image:WorldTagTeamChampionship.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:WorldTagTeamChampionship.jpg. I noticed the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, fair use images which could be replaced by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if not used in an article), per our Fair Use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. KipSmithers T/C 20:22, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image (Image:WorldTagTeamChampionship.jpg)

⚠

Thanks for uploading Image:WorldTagTeamChampionship.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. KipSmithers T/C 18:54, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NA

Please don't go reverting my edits regarding the N/A issue. I will do a compromise version, but what you added isn't needed (same with the NWA/WCW issue). TJ Spyke 03:33, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright, I didn't revert any of your edits. I just changed them a little (like mentioning in the main bodies of the articles regarding the NWA/WCW situation, and shortening the first and last PPV's to "First" and "Final"). Are you fine with this? Says the same info, just presented a little differently. Sorry if I sounded rude the first time. TJ Spyke 03:40, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Does it need to be bolded? I just looked, and I don't think it shows up as bolded in the infobox (only italicized). TJ Spyke 03:49, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I just meant that adding the bold tags don't seem to do anything in the infobox, so there isn't much point in having them. TJ Spyke 03:53, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe it is bolded. I am having problems with IE tonight, and am being forced to use Firefox (which makes everything look a little odd to me). As for your second point, can you use User:TJ Spyke/Test to show me what you mean? TJ Spyke 04:01, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You mean like with WWE? Right now we use TBA (To be announced) for that. TJ Spyke 04:33, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't notice that, thanks. Normally "TBA" is used. TJ Spyke 04:39, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User template on WP:PW

The reason you keep getting reverted on WP:PW is because the original template is the correct one in this case. The one you keep adding is for user pages only, as it automatically adds the page that it is located on to Category:WikiProject Professional wrestling participants. Because the WP:PW main page is clearly not an individual person and is not a participant in the project, that template cannot be used. Furthermore, the original template (the one in place before you changed it) is the same code as the master template, which is why the problem doesn't occur. Does that make sense? I'm clearly having a hard time explaining this. Nikki311 03:23, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Userbox during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. F, EF scale

Your recent edit to tornado changed the rating of the Greensburg, Kansas tornado from an EF 5 to an F 5. You are not alone in thinking that this is still correct, but in Feburary the National Weather Service began using the Enhanced Fujita scale. They have since rated all tornadoes as EF rather than F. You might also want to take a look at the Storm Prediction Center's webpage about the EF scale. Thank You Southern Illinois SKYWARN 12:57, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
