Hi KC, the article was proposed for deletion, and no one opposed the "prod" for the allotted time, so it was deleted according to the policy I just linked you to. I'd be happy to undelete it if you'd like to work on it, but only on a couple conditions: first, you need to provide references to reliable sources, per the very fundamental verifiability policy. It shouldn't be hard to do. Just link to them on my talk page or something, then I can give you the article and you can work on it in your userspace (that is, any page beginning with User:BASEPAGENAME/... such as User:BASEPAGENAME/Sandbox). The other condition is that you read WP:SCHOOL and try to figure out if this school meets the proposed guideline. See, Wikipedia has requirements about how notable a subject has to be before it can be included, and the general feeling is that elementary schools aren't notable unless there's something special about them. Admittedly, it's just a proposed guideline, not a real one, but it should give you an idea of what you're looking for in terms of notability. The real guidelines would be WP:N or maybe WP:ORG. But really what it comes down to is the sources. If you can provide those, the article will most likely be kept. But you should understand that every single fact in the article needs to be attributable to a reliable source; no original ideas (those that haven't been published before) are allowed in articles. Don't hesitate to leave me a <font color="blue">message</font> on my talk page if you have any questions or need anything, I'm always glad to help. Peace, <font color="#990066">delldot</font> <small><font color="DarkRed">talk</font></small> 05:27, 24 January 2008 (UTC)

School of St. Mary (Lake Forest, Illinois)

You should be aware that the article was deleted before as non-notable. AnteaterZot (talk) 23:29, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, but the school is recognized as one of the top primary schools in the nation.KC109 22:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
What I meant was; be sure to have reliable, third party sources in your article that show that the school is notable. The fact that it was deleted before means that people will take a dim view of a new article without citations. AnteaterZot (talk) 22:29, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I will put those in once done; I am the leading member of the school special team working to revamp the whole thing.KC109 22:34, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Cool. AnteaterZot (talk) 22:35, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Did you put that information in there?

License tagging for Image:SOSM-IL.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:SOSM-IL.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:09, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with Image:Roevwade.gif

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Roevwade.gif. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 16:31, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: SOSM

Hi! The image was missing a copyright tag for a week, so it was deleted. Please see WP:IUP#Adding_images for how to properly source images. Cheers, east.718 at 03:22, December 20, 2007

How to get vandals blocked

 1. Go to WP:AIV
 2. Scroll to the bottom of the page
 3. Click [edit] where it says User-reported
 4. Follow the instructions in the edit source and save the edit
 5. An admin should deal with the complaint shortly

Thanks. Ref (chew)(do) 01:57, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. I happened to notice that you posted and self-reverted on the subject at one of my watched admins talk pages (watched to protect from vandals, which is appropriate). Rather than perhaps stay in the dark about the process, I thought you would like to become an active vandal-fighter, like I am. I have always found that, if you are absolutely spot-on with the number of warnings you have given to a vandal (generally 4, but less in the case of repeat-after-a-block perpetrators or serial page-blankers), admins deal very quickly with the serious cases. Thanks and good luck. Ref (chew)(do) 23:42, 17 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to WikiProject Catholicism!

Hello, KC109, and welcome to Wikiproject Catholicism! Thank you for your generous offer to help
contribute. I'm sure your input will be much appreciated. I hope you enjoy contributing here and being a Catholic Project Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to discuss anything on the project talk page, or to leave a message on my own talk page. Please remember to sign all your comments, and be bold with your edits. Again, welcome, and happy editing! --Thw1309 (talk) 12:59, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have removed the report you made to WP:AIV concerning vandalism on Gravesend Grammar School. The user you are referring to, while making edits that tend to be counter to WP:MOS are not vandalism per se. Well meaning but incorrect edits should be dealt with through discussion rather than vandalism reports. Trusilver 02:59, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RE:Adoption

Yes I am, and of course! There is no requirements for adoption, anyone can request to be adopted, and I am willing. Tiptoety talk 19:58, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Great, where are you wanting to start? You can start off quick and move right into creating articles, we can take it a bit slower by going over policies, or you can work on doing some newpage and recent change patrolling (ridding wikipedia of vandals). I am not sure what you are interested in doing here. Tiptoety talk 20:05, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, i notice that you have already been doing a little of that on your own, do you currently use any tools (automated systems) to do your vandal fighting? Tiptoety talk 20:08, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, some tools only work with certain web browsers, do you use internet explorer, or firefox? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Tiptoety (talkcontribs) 20:12, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure can. Tiptoety talk 20:17, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I am available for a short period of time. As i was saying, there are not too many good vandal fighting programs that can be used with internet explorer, so you will just have to revert them manually by using the Undo button. Tiptoety talk 02:49, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why don't you read up on the blocking policy and the banning policy, then tell me what the difference between the two is, then we can actively get to some vandal fighting! Tiptoety talk 03:00, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, just to inform you, you're going to have to change your country as it has already been taken. Thanks.  Sunderland06  20:57, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent edits

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 16:14, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rollback

Thanks for rolling back vandalism here. --Uncle Ed (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 17:02, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
