Dan Currie (born June 27, 1935) is a former professional football player, a linebacker in the National Football League|NFL]] from 1958-66. He was an All-American linebacker and center at Michigan State in 1957. A first round draft choice, he played in the NFL for nine seasons, the first seven with the Green Bay Packers and the last two with the Los Angeles Rams. He was an All-Pro 1961, and was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated on December 18, 1961.[1]

Currie was the third overall pick of the 1958 NFL Draft, in which the Green Bay Packers also selected Jim Taylor of LSU (2nd round, 15th overall), Ray Nitschke of Illinois (3rd round, 36th), and Jerry Kramer of Idaho (4th round, 39th).

He currently resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
