Jessica Mauboy is an Australian pop singer and songwriter. She has released one studio album, one live album and three singles, in addition to three music videos on Sony BMG and Sony Music Entertainment.

Mauboy rose to prominence after placing second in the fourth season of Australian Idol in 2006.[1] Her debut live album, The Journey, was released in 2007 on Sony BMG.[2] The album reached number four on the Australian Top 100 Albums Chart and received gold certification by the Australian Recording Industry Association.[3][4] Later that year, Mauboy joined girl group Young Divas, and with them, released their second cover album, New Attitude.[5][6] The album received gold certification and achieved Top 10 status.[4][7] The lead single "Turn Me Loose" peaked at number 15.[7] In 2008, Mauboy left the group to concentrate on her solo career.[8]
