The following is a list of episodes of the Travel Channel television program Man v. Food who's host is Adam Richman.

Season 1: 2008-2009

1 Amarillo, Texas December 3, 2008 Man Adam traveled to Amarillo, Texas to visit Moose's Sixth St. Bar & Grill for ribs, Biti Pies for dessert, Golden Light Café for a frito pie, Youngblood's Stockyard Café for chicken fried steak and Coyote Bluff for the extra-spicy "Burger From Hell". The episode's challenge was to complete the "Big Texan Challenge". To complete the challenge, one must consume a 4.5 pound (2 kg) steak, a buttered bread roll, baked potato, ranch beans, shrimp cocktail and a salad in less than an hour. The challenge is offered at The Big Texan Steak Ranch. Accompanied by members of the Route 66 Roller Derby League, Adam completed the challenge in a remarkable 29 minutes.
2 Memphis, Tennessee December 3, 2008 Food Adam visited Memphis for and Elvis sandwich at Arcade, spicy fried chicken at Gus's World Famous Fried Chicken, and pulled pork, ribs and shrimp at Charlie Vergos's Rendezvous. The episode's challenge was to consume the Sasquatch Burger, a 7.5 pound Hamburger which is comprised of 4 pounds of beef, 1.5 pounds of vegetables and a 2 pound bun. Adam was unable to complete the burger in the time allotted.
3 Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania December 10, 2008 Man Adam headed to Pittsburgh to dine on large sandwiches that included french fries and cole slaw inside at Primanti Brothers and plate-sized chocolate chip pancakes and omelettes at Deluca's Restaurant. The episode's challenge was to complete the Atomic Hot Wings Challenge at Quaker Steak and Lube. The challenge is completed by consuming six "Atomic Wings", some of the hottest wings on Earth. Before starting the challenge, Adam had to sign a contract stating that he would eat at his own risk. Adam completed the challenge and received a bumper sticker and a place on "Quaker Steak and Lube's Atomic Wall of Flame" due to this fact.
4 Columbus, Ohio December 10, 2008 Man Adam traveled to Columbus to go to Schmidt's Sausage Haus to enjoy cream puffs and and all-you-can-eat sausage buffet and Thurman Café to eat an emmense hamburger dubbed "The Thurmanator". The episode's challenge was to consume the 2 1/2 pound Dagwood Sandwich and a pound of french fries at the Ohio Deli & Restaurant. Adam completed the challenge in 20 of the alotted 30 minutes. Since he won, Adam was awarded a commemorative t-shirt.
5 Texas Hill Country December 17, 2008 Food Adam went to Texas Hill Country to create and consume large doughnuts at Round Rock Donuts in Round Rock,Texas and sample meats from the open pit at Salt Lick BBQ in Driftwood, Texas. The episode's challenge was to eat 8 Don Juan El Taco Grande breakfast tacos, each taco consisting of potato, egg, cheese and bacon. Though Richman finished only four-and-a-quarter of the three-quarter pound tacos he was still awarded his name and picture on the "Juan of Fame". He was added here as the first "Celeberty Champ" and one of the top five all-time eaters.
6 Chicago, Illinois December 24, 2008 Man Adam journeyed to Chicago to eat italian beef sandwiches at Al's Beef and deep dish pizza at Gino's East. While at Al's Beef, after learning the official "Italian Stance" for eating a juicy sandwich, Richman ate a double-meat double-cheese reuben sandwich in under 30 minutes. The episode's challenge was to eat three overstuffed sandwiches in less than an hour at Lucky's Sandwich Company. Adam completed the challenge and as of his win became the eleventh person to complete it. Due to the fact that he completed the challenge, Richman got his photo put on the Wall of Fame.
7 Atlanta, Georgia January 7, 2008 Food Adam visited Atlanta to go to Gladys Knight and Ron Winans' Chicken and Waffles for homemade food and The Vortex Bar & Grill for their famous hamburgers. Richman made "The Midnight Train", a chicken and waffles dish named after Midnight Train to Georgia, a song Gladys Knight made famous while spending time with Knight herself at Gladys Knight and Ron Winans' Chicken and Waffles. The episode's challenge was to complete the "Carnivore Challenge", a challenge in which two people attempt to consume an 11 pound, 30 inch pepperoni-ground beef-italian sausage-ham-bacon pizza, each attempting to devour half at Big Pie in the Pizzeria. For the challenge, Richman recruited Drew, a veteran of the "Carnivore Challenge" to help him. If the two won they would receive $250 in prize money. Richman was able to consume most of his half of the pizza, but Drew vomited most of his half of the pizza, and they were considered losers.
8 Boston, Massachusetts January, 14, 2009 Food Adam visited Boston to eat seafood and attend a spicy feast dubbed "Hell Night" at East Coast Grill & Raw Bar and eat a four pound clamcake at the Barking Crab. The episode's challenge was to eat the 12 pound Eagle Challenge Burger at Eagle's Deli and Restaurant. The burger consists of 5 pounds of beef, 2 pounds of bacon and cheese, 5 pounds of french fries and a giant pickle. Richman, a self-proclaimed New York Yankees fan, faced off against former Eagle's employee Chuck Whittall, who is a Boston Red Sox fan. Whittall completed 6 ounces more of his burger than Richman and thus Adam lost. Due to the fact that he lost, Richman had to wear an "I Love Boston" t-shirt, and his photo was placed on the "Wall of Shame".
9 New York, New York January, 21, 2009 Man Adam traveled New York to dine on homemade food at Sylvia's Restaurant of Harlem and deli sandwiches Katz's Delicatessen. The episode's challenge was to finish spicy p'hall that was claimed to be "the hottest curry in the world" at Brick Lane Curry House. Adam completed the curry, received a "beer on the house", received a certificate of his win and got his photo on the restaurant's website.
10 New Orleans, Louisiana January 28, 2009 Man Adam went to New Orleans for a "Ferdie Special" po' boy Sandwich at Mother's Restaurant and barbecued shrimp at Deanie's Seafood. The episode's challenge was to become a member of the "15 Dozen Club" by finishing 15 dozen oysters at Acme Oyster House. Adam completed the challenge.
