All of Mirs, [[Mughals]] and all other people from [[Hyderabad, Sindh|Hyderabad]] to [[Multan]] respect the city due to having strong relations of their ancestors with the city and also for martyr of Makhdooms as Makhdoom Abdur Rehman God loving personality along with his 280 followers was martyred in the mosque of this town by Noor Mohammad [[Kalhoro]] due to his growing circle of followers in 1145 hijri books writes that it was massacre of 200 religious scholars at Khuhra later Makhdoom Muhammad son of Makhdoom Abdur Rehman continued to follow his father and from the day to the date Scholors are managing the matters and currently Makhdoom Mukhtiar Ahmed hashmi Sajjada Nashin of Dargah and his younger Brother Makhdoom Nadim Ahmed Hashmi subsequent the Dargah as well as the city and he is also the Nazim for Union Council Khuhra.

Mr. Din Muhammad Shaikh was a great gentleman, his friends were Ustad Inspector Muhammad Mithal Khan Kalhoro of Tagro Ripri, Wadero Suhrab Khan Kalhoro of Wadpagia, Mr. Manzoor Husain Abbasi or Tagro Ripri presently administrator Thatta when Dr. Mustafa Kalhoro Taagrraai, who is writer of a book ''History of Ripri'' excluding nine others, relates that Mr. Din Muhammad Shaikh was a generous one, he used to met even common people with smiling face, he was respecting the elders and loving the youngers his brother Mr. Mushtaq was also a good man and his son Mr. Shakeel Shaikh is a same copy of his father with a lovely smiling face.

Khuhra is an historical city of the district Khairpur Mir's, in Pakistan, very well known due to its Shariah head Quarter of Khairpur state.

History

All of Mirs, Mughals and all other people from Hyderabad to Multan respect the city due to having strong relations of their ancestors with the city and also for martyr of Makhdooms as Makhdoom Abdur Rehman God loving personality along with his 280 followers was martyred in the mosque of this town by Noor Mohammad Kalhoro due to his growing circle of followers in 1145 hijri books writes that it was massacre of 200 religious scholars at Khuhra later Makhdoom Muhammad son of Makhdoom Abdur Rehman continued to follow his father and from the day to the date Scholors are managing the matters and currently Makhdoom Mukhtiar Ahmed hashmi Sajjada Nashin of Dargah and his younger Brother Makhdoom Nadim Ahmed Hashmi subsequent the Dargah as well as the city and he is also the Nazim for Union Council Khuhra. Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai great spiritual poet of sindh soil also stayed there for a week on insisting by Makhdoom Muhammad of Khuhra

Ujjan and khuwaja communities are the most densely residing in city and considered loving and unity among all as compare to any other community based in khuhra. there descending order and settlement in khuhra is almost 10 centuries earlier, while, they were the source of cloths in city for all. Khuhra town secondly influenced by the Khuwaja, Ujjan, Memon and shaikh due to their Business field in town. Mr. Abdul latif khuwaja and Haji Imam Bux Memon are the great name for services as Chairman Town committee while Mr. Din Mohammad shaikh and Mr. Habibullah shaikh are the name to establish ice factory in town when there was no concept to purchase refrigerator by poor people.

Shaikh family descended from Mohammad Soomar and Hamza khan s/o Hakim koral and Munshi family as family tree available. Hamza khan's descended at centre of city, while Scion of Mohammad Soomar settled in west of Hamza khan and Munshis settled in North of city.

A prominent personality of Khuhra was honourable Ustad Sahib Dino Soomro who was originally belonging to Nooru Goth situated on the way from Baharo dero to Razidero Kalhoro, Taluka Gambat, District Khairpur. He was a fast friend of Ustad Inpector Muhammad Mithal Kalhoro of Tagro Ripri.

Khuhra town adjoining number of villages like Drib Mehar Shah, Kaleri, Khabri, Allah Andal Ujjan, Redhar, Tagro Ripri, Baharo, many villages of Abbasi Kalhora tribe and also linked motorway at the distance of 2 km to south and Larkana Khairpur road at 3 km to North.

Khuhra is the city of Saints. One may find a number of tombs of Saints such as Peer Mossan Shah, Shatan Shah, Shuhada-e-Makhdoom, Syed Ibrahim Shah, Pir Shakir Hussain Shah, Fakir Muhammad Channeh Ujjan, Allah Obhayo Shah Mast, Pir Sarhandi, Akhund Sheer etc.....
