The '''reward board''' is an informal page where users who want a specific task related to Wikipedia (such as the promotion of an article to [[Wikipedia:Featured articles|featured article]] status or the editing of an image) can offer a reward to editors willing to take on the task. The execution and details of the transaction are the responsibility of the participating parties, and the reward can be monetary, goods (books, cookies, etc.), [[WP:Barnstar|barnstars]], or tit-for-tat editing (like improving another article).

Reward board is similar to the [[Wikipedia:Bounty board|Bounty board]]; however, instead of a donation to the [[Wikimedia Foundation]], payment is made directly to a specific editor.

The [[Wikimedia Foundation]] is not hiring contributors and no payments are made by the [[Wikimedia Foundation|Foundation]]. This is purely a page for editors to offer rewards to other editors. Challenges may remain open for a maximum duration of one year. After that period of time, the challenge will be moved to [[Wikipedia:Reward board expired requests|expired requests]]; however, the author of the challenge may repost the challenge with a new expiration period. The aim of this policy is to keep the board clutter-free, ensure editors are available to fulfill such challenges, and to ensure the challenges are still valid.

Elevate Kongregate to B or higher

  • Request: Elevate Kongregate to B-class or higher. Review must come from WP:VG for B reward Whilst its importance is considered Low, I think it's the best example of that genre of websites (The genre being free online flash games with optional purchases).
  • Reward: The Original Barnstar, or any other applicable Barnstar from Twinkle's default set. For GA status or higher, an award of a single Steam game from my inventory is available (currently includes titles such as Deus Ex, Dota 2, Bioshock, XCOM, Ravaged), barnstars, and food/drink.
  • Limit on rewards: Maximum of two reward winners for GA+ tier
  • Expires: March 30, 2014
