¿Quién eres tú? ('Infringement) (also known in developing as La Otra Cara) is a 2012 Spanish-language telenovela produced by RTI Producciones and Televisa for United States-based television network UniMás (formally Telefutura) and for Colombia-based television network RCN TV. It is a remake of Televisa's La Usurpadora.^[1]

Julian Gil stars as the protagonist, while Laura Carmine stars as the dual protagonist/antagonist, portraying twin sisters Natalia and Veronica.

History

A January 7, 2013 airdate was confirmed by UniMás (previously Telefutura) on December 12, 2012.^[2] From January 7 to January 18, 2013, UniMás broadcasted ¿Quién Eres Tú? weeknights at 10pm/9c.^[3]^[4] It was removed from the airwaves after only ten episodes due to low ratings.^[5] As of January 21, 2013, UniMás is airing Rosario Tijeras weeknights at 10pm/9c, replacing ¿Quién Eres Tú?.^[6]

Plot

Natalia and Veronica Garrido are twin sisters who share a tragic past. After being drifted apart while they were still teenagers, they have now turned into complete opposites: Veronica is a cruel and tyrant woman who married Felipe Esquivel, heir of a prestigious hotel chain; and Natalia is a simple woman who despite of having a difficult life has been able to keep her heart´s kindness and generosity.

Veronica is planning to escape after stealing from the family company together with Lorenzo Esquivel, her brother in law and lover. She doesn´t hesitate to turn to her sister 14 years later, fool her with a touching story and get to be replaced by her while she escapes.

Natalia agrees, excited of seeing her sister again after so long. Without having a clue about Veronica´s true evil intentions, she ends up immerse within a dangerous spider web in which the love she starts feeling for her sister´s husband and the pain of having to confront her own blood, become a tormented path that will finally put everyone in the right place.
