Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I greatly appreciate your efforts to make constructive edits on Wikipedia. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages you might like to see:

You are welcome to continue editing without logging in, but many editors recommend that you create an account. Doing so is free, requires no personal information, and provides several benefits such as the ability to create articles. For a full outline and explanation of the benefits that come with creating an account, please see this page. If you edit without a username, your IP address (70.208.84.138) is used to identify you instead.

In any case, I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your comments on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your IP address (or username if you're logged in) and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question and then place {{helpme}} before the question on this page. Again, welcome! Information icon Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Manosphere, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Do not remove sourced material. Per WP:BRD, is you have a problem with material in the article, and have been reverted after boldly removing such material, bring the issue to the Talk page. It's not WP:BRRR, it's BRD. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Let me add that the section you removed states:

Some of these forums have been described in the media and by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as promoting a misogynistic worldview, particularly concerning issues relating to sexual abuse and domestic violence.

SPLC states:

The so-called “manosphere” is peopled with hundreds of websites, blogs and forums dedicated to savaging feminists in particular and women, very typically American women,...they are almost all thick with misogynistic attacks that can be astounding for the guttural hatred they express.

You cannot read the descriptions that SPLC provides of the 10 or so(Alcuin,Boycott American Women,The Counter Feminist,The False Rape Society,In Mala Fide,MarkyMark’s Thoughts,MensActivism,Reddit: Mens Rights,RooshV,SAVE Services,The Spearhead,A Voice for Men) sites and NOT see they mention topics relating to sex abuse and domestic violence. You cannot. And the other source mentions them too. Stop edit warring to remove sourced material. Dave Dial (talk) 04:17, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The topics are mentioned, in cherry-picked quotes from individual blogs, and the SPLC makes no general statement about them that is remotely similar to what is in the Wiki article. Even if it did, it shouldn't be in the opening paragraph when there's a critcism section. Nevertheless I'll leave it alone and let other editors deal with it, I've made my point and I highly doubt that article will stand up long-term reading like a Jezebel article.
I've re-removed the unsourced and inaccurate line about Elliot Rodger posting to manosphere sites.
The portion about Rodgers I'm not informed enough about. But the portion concerning the SPLC and the description is clear. They outline in each description of each site, and the overwhelming issues being discussed are sexual abuse and domestic violence. A few examples:

Rape is now a political crime, not a crime of sex or violence. A man doesn’t have to rape in order to be a rapist. A man is a rapist until he somehow proves himself innocent.”

And:

The False Rape Society is an Internet news aggregator, subtitled “Community of the Falsely Accused,” that features stories about allegedly false rape accusations and “feminist”-crafted “anti-male” legislation.

Rape is sexual abuse.

The acronym in SAVE Services stands for Stop Abusive and Violent Environments; “Protecting Victims, Stopping False Allegations, Ending Abuse” is its tagline. In practice, that means lobbying to roll back services for victims of domestic abuse and penalties for their tormentors, while working to return the focus to the “true victims of abuse” — the falsely accused. The site trumpets as a “key fact” that “[f]emale initiation of partner violence is the leading reason for the woman becoming a victim of subsequent violence,” even though a study shows that approximately twice as many women as men are injured during incidents of domestic violence.

Domestic violence.
So I do not understand how one can claim that this:

Some of these forums have been described in the media and by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) as promoting a misogynistic worldview, particularly concerning issues relating to sexual abuse and domestic violence.

does not reflect the source. You are welcome to move this discussion over to the Talk page if you still disagree. Dave Dial (talk) 05:11, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The above is a templated message. Please accept it as a routine friendly notice, not as a claim that there is necessarily any problem with your edits. Thank you. -- Tutelary (talk) 10:28, 12 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
