Early life

The son of Lynn Kroll and Kroll Inc. founder Jules B. Kroll,[1] Nick Kroll was raised Jewish in Westchester County, New York.[2] He went to the Solomon Schechter School of Westchester until the eighth grade, as Schechter Westchester did not have a high school at that time. He attended high school at Rye Country Day School. During this time, he also briefly attended The Mountain School in Vermont where he developed his fondness for hiking.[3] After Rye Country Day School, he went on to graduate from Georgetown University, where he majored in history.[4]
