Ranipool, is a small suburban town located near Gangtok in East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is 12 km from Gangtok main town. It has three roads which lead to Singtam, Pakyong and Gangtok. It falls under the Gangtok Municipal Corporation.
It has five schools, two government and three private. Just 1.5 km away is a pharmaceutical factory of Sun Pharma for producing medicines. Pharmaceutical factory of Glenmark is within 3.5 k.m. Agriculture College is also situated at Ranipool within 1 k.m.
Ranipool is dominated by Biharies, Marwaries on economic front and population is mixture of all communities.
