Vroozi, Inc. is a cloud-based enterprise procurement software vendor. It is based out of Southern California with customers globally.

Vroozi connects customers and suppliers in a unified spending solution on a single platform. The Vroozi eProcurement platform includes mobile-enabled procure-to-pay functionality, catalog content, supplier relationship management, master data management, workflow approval, and integration with other enterprise resource-planning (ERP) financial systems.

History

In 2007, Vroozi’s Co-Founder and current Chief Strategy Officer Shaz Khan set out to eliminate the long upfront elimination time and cost, while offering a means for employees to shop like they would at home.

Khan had been implementing ERP procurement and supply chain systems for Fortune 500 companies since 1997, and authored the SAP SRM Extended Classic Cookbook in 2005. Over the previous decade, it became clear to Khan that business shoppers are the same consumers that have grown accustomed to using simple online shopping technology.

Khan soon began partnering with Rich Chala, who had been building online exchange marketplaces for grocers and designing supply chain platforms for mobile devices. After bouncing some ideas back and forth, they came up with the idea to build a large, user-friendly B2B eCommerce search engine and marketplace platform, which would come to be known as smartOCI. Chala fully joined Khan in 2011, subsequently forming Vroozi.

Vroozi offers a cloud-based enterprise procurement platform that connects buyers and sellers across industries in a single marketplace. The Vroozi platform is a mobile-first procurement solution that can be used to manage both direct and indirect company spending, with real-time spend analytics, electronic signature with DocuSign, and integration to other systems via CXML or OCI formats. Mobile procurement works on all web-enabled devices. It is built on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure and is completely web-responsive. The solution is available as a SaaS offering at a monthly subscription fee.

smartOCI is a solution for catalog management (also known as catalog content management) that allows users to create supplier catalogs with multi-currency, multi-language, and tiered pricing support. smartOCI creates a front-end marketplace for many legacy systems, and is available as a SaaS offering at monthly subscription fee.
