Pathemari [1] is an upcoming 2015 Malayalam film[2] written and directed by Salim Ahamed. Resul Pookutty handles the sound recording, while music is composed by Bijibal and cinematography is done by Madhu Ambat. It stars Mammootty, Sreenivasan, Balachandra Menon, Salim Kumar, Joy Mathew, Yavanika Gopalakrishnan, Shaheen Siddique and Jewel Mary.[2] The film is distributed by Eros International.[3] The film is scheduled to release on 9 October 2015.[4]

The music was released by Eros Music on 14 September 2015. Bijibal composed the tracks which was sung by Hariharan, Shahabaz Aman and Jyotsna Radhakrishnan, with lyrics written by Rafeeq Ahamed.[5][6]

Plagiarism allegations
A UAE based NRI [7] named Moidutty filed a complaint in the Additional Sessions Court, Eranakulam against the release of the film, stating that the director Salim Ahmed plagiarised his story titled 'Swapnageham' and the director did not respond when he repeatedly tried to contact him. [8] In July 2015, the release of the film was stayed by the Ernakulam Additional Sessions Court.[7]
