Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Map of Brazil
Hi, Shadowxfox. Thanks for the new map of the Empire of Brazil. It looks great. Would you mind making a new one depicting the country as it looked around 1824? --Lecen (talk) 23:42, 2 December 2015 (UTC)
- I'm sorry, but the boundaries are wrong. Brazil did not conquer or purchase territory from Colombia, Venezuela and Argentina. I appreciate your kindness, but it's flawed. Thank you, --Lecen (talk) 01:28, 4 December 2015 (UTC)

- That treaty was nullified by the treaty of Badajoz (1801), which is why Brazil and the Spanish American republics had a hard time trying to settle their boundaries. The Spanish Americsn republics claimed that the boundaries should be the ones from Ildefonso, but Brazil preferred the Utis Posidetis principle, arguing that Ildefonso had been annulled by Badajoz. I have no intention of teaching you history. Thank you for the 1889 map, nonetheless. --Lecen (talk) 01:50, 4 December 2015 (UTC)
