The third season of Chicago P.D., an American police drama television series with executive producer Dick Wolf, and producers Derek Haas, Michael Brandt, and Matt Olmstead, began airing on September 30, 2015, at 10:00 p.m. Eastern/9:00 p.m. Central on the NBC television network.[1] The season will contain 23 episodes.[2]
Plot
Chicago P.D. follows the uniformed cops who patrol the beat and go head-to-head with the city’s street crimes and the Intelligence Unit that combats the city’s major offenses, including organized crime, drug trafficking and high-profile murders.[3]
