Poove Poochudava (Template:Lang-ta) is an 2017 Indian-Tamil Language Romance Family Series starring Dinesh, Reshma, Uma Padmanabhan, Yuvarani, Krithika Laddu and Madhan Pandian. It is a remake of the Telugu language television series Varudhini Parinayam which aired on Zee Telugu from 2013-2016. It started airing on 24 April 2017 on Zee Tamil every Monday to Friday at 8:00 PM (IST).[1][2][3] The show is directed by G. Manikanda Kumar and developed by Abdhulla.[4]

Plot

Is the story of Shakthi (Reshma) Hard-working Girl is from a lower middle class family and the daughter of a bus conductor and Her mother (Uma Padmanabhan) runs a catering business and she is second one amongst four sisters. She is the smartest child among the four sisters with high self-respect.

Shiva (Dinesh G) is from rich family and business man. Shiva, being brought up by his aunt after losing his mother in an accident, respects the only women in the form of her aunt (Yuvarani). Shiva is least bothered about others feelings except for his aunt and his brother (Madhan Pandian).

Shiva’s brother falls in love with Shakthi’s elder sister Meenakshi it so happens that both Shakthi and Shiva gets married for the happiness of their siblings despite of their hatred towards each other. Meanwhile Aishwarya,Shakthi's cousin fall for sundar.The series is about how Shakthi and Shiva manage to keep the marriage for the happiness of their respective families.

Casting

Series is a Love story produced by Abdhulla, that airs on Zee Tamil. Actress Reshma landed in lead role, This is First serial. Who is known for her one of the Dance Jodi Dance contestants dons the role of Shakthi. Dinesh G, who was also cast in Vijay TV Series Pirivom Santhippom and Mahan, was selected to portray the lead role of Shiva. Dinesh made his comeback after Mr & Mrs Khiladis.[5] Actress Uma Padmanabhan was selected to the role of Kothavari (Shakthi and Meenaskshi Mother) and Yuvarani (Shiva Mother) who played an important role. Actress Krithika Laddu was cast to play the role of Meenakshi, Madhan played the role of Sundar.[6]

Development

On 22 March 2017, the first promo of the show 'Introduced' Song was released by Zee Tamil on Facebook, YouTube and Zee Official Website Page. This Promo it quickly gained popularity and received positive feedback from viewers.[7]

Launching

The Series first Photo was released officially on 4 February 2017 in at the Dance Jodi Dance Final Episode host by Deepak Dinkar. Second Cast interview on Puthandu 14 April 2017 in the Chithirai Puthandu special Programs hosted by Deepak Dinkar and Archana.

Title song

It was written by lyricist Daa. Ko, composed Kiran sung by Vishal Chanthierasekhar and Rita with the right feel which touched people.

International broadcast

The Series was released on 24 April 2017 on Zee Tamil and from 15 October 2017 on Zee Tamil HD. The Show was also broadcast internationally on Channel's international distribution.
