Kalyani, previously known as Poornitha, is a South Indian film and TV actress.

Life

Poornitha was born in Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu on 23 November 1990. She is said to have begun acting aged eleven. She can speak Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu. Her acting debut was in Tamil in Sridhar Prasad's film "Alli Thandha Vaanam^[1] where she played Julie.

Kalyani married a doctor, Rohit based in Bangalore on 12 December 2013.^[2]^[3]
