Romeo weds Heer revolves around two individuals who hail from completely different backgrounds. Heer (Sana Javed) belongs to a family who practices and manufactures traditional medicines (Hakeem) while Romeo's (Feroze Khan) parents are well educated and are doctors by profession. Divided by professions, united by love, Romeo and Heer faces a series of misunderstandings and consequences in order to convince their families and when they succeed in doing so, fate plays its turn. |

Romeo and Heer's love story comes to a halt when Romeo's friend Shanzay (Namrah Shahid) enters their life. Romeo's divided attention between the two girls begins to worry Heer and she confronts Romeo. Unable to justify his time and loyalty Heer distances herself. However, Romeo being a loyal friend to Shanzay goes through a lot and in efforts of helping her, Romeo gets himself in a problem which forces him to marry Shanzay instead of Heer. Synopsis

Production
Feroze Khan shared his new look from his next play named Romeo Weds Heer on Instagram. He further informed his fans that this would be a Rom-com and would also be directed by Anjum Shahzad. It marks the third collaboration of Feroze with director Anjum Shahzad after the romantic films Zindagi Kitni Haseen Hai[6][7] and Saga of Love and Revenge Khaani.[8] Anjum, once again, selected Sana Javed as the female lead after her mind blowing performance in Khaani, thus the trio returned. Besides this, the leading couple has also been a part of Mehreen Jabbar's Dino Ki Dulhaniya, a television film, thus this marks the third appearance of Feroze and Sana as a couple.[9]
Romeo Weds Heer is written by Muhammad Younis Butt. It is produced under the banner of 7th Sky Entertainment.[10]
Reception
The show impressed with super high ratings in its first episodes; reaching 4-1 TRPs. It kept a lead for many weeks, and if it was not number 1 it was still in top 20. However towards February the TRP began falling down and had a terrible audience reception, and was no longer in the top 50. It was only getting 0-5 TRPs. By the last episode, the show lost a lot of fanbase; both on TV, and YouTube.
