Daniel Haggis (born 17 February 1984) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter. He is the drummer and backing vocalist of The Wombats, and releases solo music under the name Dan the Man.
Early life
Haggis was born on 17 February 1984.[2][3] He grew up in the Liverpool suburb of Garston.[4] He began studying music at the University of Liverpool, but swapped to French and Spanish after his first year because "languages have always been [his] second love" and he was already "doing so much music outside of uni anyway".[5] He also studied music at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, where he met his future Wombats bandmates.[5]
