Genius:Charles Darwin (2003 film) is a 2003 documentary about the work of Charles Darwin written by Pauline Rush and directed by Chris Gormlie[1]. Narrated by Graham McTavish, the film tells the story of the evolution of Darwin's thought from his early life in Shrewsbury to the publication of the Origin of the Species and his treatise on earthworms. The film uses interviews with a number of commentators Nino Strechey (curator of Down House), Randal Keynes (Darwin’s great grandson), Fr Henry Wansborough (Master of St Benet’s Hall, Canon Vincent Strudwick of Kellogg College, Oxford and Richard Dawkins to discuss the influences on Darwin and Darwin's influence on wider society. It touches on Darwin's influence on religion, social Darwinism and National Socialism and the ethics of cloning. It was produced by Cromwell Productions Limited [2]
