This is a list of fictional extraterrestrials (who are not a part of a main race) who appear in the anime and manga Dragon Ball metaseries (character appears in the original Dragon Ball seriescharacter appears in the Dragon Ball Z series

Bojack
Bojack (ボージャック, Bōjakku) is a large, muscular extraterrestrial who plays the role of the main supervillain in Bojack Unbound. He somewhat resembles a gypsy-pirate, with a blue-green skin, long orange hair and a long scar over his face. He is able to transform into his final form; his skin turns yellowish green, his hair becomes red, and his clothes from the waist up are removed, due to the increase in his muscle mass. Because of his ambition to rule the universe, he was sealed inside a star by the Kaios, but released when North Kaio's planet was destroyed by Cell's suicide explosion. He travels to Earth with his henchmen to rid himself of any obstacles in a martial arts tournament, but is stopped by Gohan and his group.
Bojack's henchmen
Bido is a large henchman of Bojack's crew. He has a mohawk and an orange goatee. He tag-teams with Bujin in order to take down the opponents that Bujin traps. Right before he can kill Future Trunks, Vegeta blasts him through the roof, knocking him and Bujin down. After Gohan turns Super Saiyan 2, he is punched in half and killed by the Saiyan, along with his ally Bujin.
Bido's name seems to have its root in the Japanese word hidō (非道), which means "unjust" and is often pronounced "bidō" when added to the end of words like gokuaku and zangyaku.
Bujin is the short, psychic henchman of Bojack. He likes to use a paralyzing attack on his opponents to stop them in their tracks. He and Bido almost succeeded in killing Trunks if not for Vegeta who intervened. Along with Bido, he is killed by Gohan after going Super Saiyan 2 by getting kicked through the waist, separating him in two pieces.
Bujin's name is rooted in the Japanese word bōjakubujin (傍若無人), which means "arrogance or audacity" and is the same word from which Bojack's name is derived.
Gokua (FUNimation's dub: Kogu) is the swordsman of Bojack's team. He surprises Trunks and battles him, showing that he is quite strong from the even fight. Like Bojack, he is able to power-up into his final form, which turns his skin a lighter green and increases his muscle mass. Once Trunks changes into a Super Saiyan, Gokua finds himself outmatched. His sword is shattered and he is defeated with one punch that goes completely through his abdomen.
Gokua's name is derived from the Japanese word gokuaku (極悪), which means "heinous". He is not to be confused with the hero of Dragon Ball, Goku, hence why his name was changed to "Kogu" for the English dub.
Zangya (ザンギャ, Zāngya) is Bojack's only female underling. She's quite a powerful fighter and takes on Kuririn. Near the end of the movie, she was killed when Bojack pushed her in front of him and blasted her in the back in an attempt to distract Gohan. Zangya makes a cameo appearance in the movie Fusion Reborn, resurrected from the dead through a mishap in the afterlife caused by Janemba.
Her name derives from the Japanese word zangyaku (残虐), which means "cruelty." Being one of the few female villains in the series, she made an appearance as a playable character in the fighting games Super Butoden 2 (released in Japan only) and Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Coola

Dore (ドーレ Dōre) is vaguely Hulk-like in appearance, he accompanies Coola along with the rest of his team to Earth. He and the others are assigned to finding Son Goku so his master can redeem his family's hurt pride. Finding Son Gohan instead, Dore torments him by squeezing his head in his bare hand like a vice. Piccolo catches him off guard and soon thereafter finishes him off with a homing ki blast as Dore flies after a fleeing Gohan, who was trying to escape to heal his father with senzu beans.
According to Shonen Jump, he was a former wrestler in a Space Pro-Wrestling league where he killed all his challengers in the ring.[volume & issue needed] He is extremely tough due to coming from a planet of magma.[volume & issue needed]
Akin to all Dragon Ball characters, Dore and his fellow henchmen's names are derived from puns - in this case, condiments and salad dressings. His own name was lifted from doresshingu, or salad dressing.
(FUNimation dub: Neiz)
Naise (ネイズ, Neizu) can hide his head in his shoulders in order to dodge blasts. He fights alongside Thousar and Dore, pulling off poses similar to the Ginyu Special Corps. He battles against Son Goku at first, but eventually fights Piccolo with the others. After Dore's death, Naise attempts to neutralize Piccolo using one of his special techniques, only to have the Namek smirk as he grabs Naise when he comes in to gloat, reflecting the attack back at him and killing his opponent instantly. According to Shonen Jump, he prides himself on his speed and can create an electric charge from his body.
Naise takes his name from the common condiment mayonnaise.
(FUNimation's dub: Salza)
Thousar (サウザー, Sauzaa) is a blue-skinned "pretty boy" alien (much like Zarbon) with blonde hair who serves as Coola's right hand man and leader of his Armored Squadron. He is able to slice through objects using a blade of ki formed in his right hand. He also has an uncanny French accent. Thousar is the only member to survive Piccolo's initial attack, as he's able to be a match just long enough for his master to take matters into his own hands. Thousar then takes Son Gohan and Kuririn by surprise, burning their bag of senzu before kicking both around. He then confronts an angered Son Goku only to have his punch have no effect, and is driven into a cliffside just by Goku channeling his power. Thousar survives, and in the end tries a sneak attack to kill Goku and his friends when they have almost no energy left after Coola's apparent death. Piccolo saves them all after killing Thousar with his Makankōsappō.
Before the release of the Coola movie, Shonen Jump stated that Thousar is from the same planetary system as Jheese[volume & issue needed] and that he fought with Ginyu over leadership over the Armored Squadron.[volume & issue needed]
Thousar's name comes from a pun on Thousand Island salad dressing. Coincidentally, his name change in the dub keeps with the condiment pun, as salsa is Spanish for sauce. Also, in the FUNimation dub, Thousar speaks with a distinctive French accent.
His first video game appearance is in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3, Coola has an energy blade attack similar to Thousar's, strangely misnamed "Sauzer Blade." In Dragon Ball Z: Super Sonic Warriors 2 Coola can summon Thousar to perform rapid slashes with his energy blade.
Freeza

Appule makes an appearance as a playable character for the first time in the Japanese Wii version of the video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Dodoria (ドドリア, Dodoria) is one of Freeza's top henchmen. Dodoria is a large, pink alien with short spikes on his head and forearms. In Bardock: The Father of Goku, it was Dodoria who had Burdock's crew killed and easily defeated Burdock himself, leaving him for dead. He fails to confirm the dead body, however, and must apologize to his master for his negligence. He then traveled to Planet Namek with Freeza and Zarbon in search of the Dragon Balls. Once on the planet, Kuririn and Gohan interfered to save Dende from Dodoria, as he had already massacred a number of Namekians. He begins to pursue the three, only to encounter Vegeta. Outmatched, Dodoria pleads for mercy, telling Vegeta the truth about the destruction of Planet Vegeta hoping it would aid in sparing his life. The plea fails miserably, as Vegeta slaughters him regardless.
In Dragon Ball GT, Dodoria is one of the villans that escapes from Hell during the Super 17 Saga.
Dodoria appears as a playable character in the video games Dragon Ball Z: Budokai, Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Dodoria's Elite
Appearing only in the Burdock special, they are four of Freeza's lower-level warriors. Considered elite amongst the rank and file, they accompany Dodoria to Planet Meat to assist him in killing Burdock's crew. All four thought that because they had easily beaten Burdock's friends they thought they could take out Burdock without much difficulty. They were mistaken, and after a lengthy struggle, Burdock managed to kill all of them.

Kiwi (キュイ, Kyui) was a high-ranking henchman of Freeza who used his superior rank and high power level to instill fear in those he felt were beneath him in power levels. He was in command of Freeza planet #79. He was responsible for notifying Vegeta that Freeza was already on Namek collecting the dragon balls. Once Freeza gave him the order to take out Vegeta, He recklessly challenged Vegeta on Namek. However, Vegeta had become more powerful from his battle on Earth and easily defeated him. A few others of his species were also seen throughout the series.
Orin Another one of Freeza's henchmen on Namek, Orin is likely of the same species as Appule except he is orange with large fangs and red eyes. Orin is the one who finds the Namekian village that Vegeta had attacked for its Dragon Ball. He interrogates the sole survivor, and once he learns it was Vegeta’s doing Orin kills the dying Namekian and returns to Freeza’s ship to report. He lets it slip he killed the survivor without first asking where Vegeta may have hidden the Dragon Ball, which angers Freeza. He then kills Orin without a second thought, zapping him with chi beams from his eyes. His name is a pun on orange.
Note that Orin only appears in the anime. In the manga, it is Appule who discovers the village Vegeta destroyed, and upon returning to report Freeza does not kill him but orders him to summon the Ginyu Force.
Zarbon (ザーボン, Zābon) is Freeza's right-hand man and one of his more powerful henchmen. He has long, green braided hair and wears a tiara and earrings, giving him a more attractive look amongst Freeza's soldiers. Because of this, Zarbon thinks highly of himself and values things based on how attractive they are. Zarbon has the ability to transform himself into a reptilian humanoid, increasing his strength and ferocity while also detracting from his looks. Because of this, he avoids transforming whenever possible. Zarbon accompanies Freeza to Planet Namek where he fights and captures Vegeta. When Vegeta recovers and escapes, Zarbon is sent to retrieve him, though Vegeta's increase in strength overwhelms him and leads to his death.
In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2, Zarbon appears in a "what-if" scenario where he attempts to gain the Dragon Balls for himself and wish for eternal beauty. He eventually gets his wish, but ends up dying when Planet Namek explodes. His Japanese voice actor is Sho Hayami. In the Ocean Group dub, he is voiced by Paul Dobson and given an Australian accent. In the later FUNimation redub, he is voiced by Christopher Sabat and given a British accent.
Ginyu Force
A team of super-elite and powerful warriors, they are called upon by Freeza to assist in the defeat of Vegeta and obtainment of the Dragon Balls on Planet Namek during the course of the Freeza Saga in an attempt to regroup from Zarbon and Dodoria's previous failure. Though physically some of the very strongest in the universe, the Ginyu Force's members delight in coming up with strange poses, betting candy on fights, and playing Janken to decide the order they should fight.
(FUNimation dub: Burter)
Butta (バータ, Bāta) is the tallest member of the team. He is a blue-skinned alien nicknamed the Blue Hurricane who fancies himself the fastest person in the universe. And indeed he has incredible speed that he demonstrates by swiftly retrieving a Dragon Ball thrown by Vegeta in an effort to prevent it from falling into Freeza's hands. Along with Jheese, Butta sits out the fighting until Goku arrives and defeats Reacoom singlehandedly. Butta and Jheese jump in to attack Goku, but the Earth Saiyan proves both faster than Butta (much to his fury) and stronger than both of them. He then defeats Butta with two crippling blows to the back, and shortly thereafter, Vegeta finishes Butta off by dropping a knee on and breaking Butta's neck. His name is a pun on butter
Captain Ginyu (ギニュー隊長, Ginyū Taichō) is the captain of the Ginyu Force, and the strongest member on the team. He is one of the more flamboyant members of the Ginyu Force, second only to Reacoom. Captain Ginyu knows and uses a unique technique in the series, the ability to switch bodies with others. He fights with Goku after giving the Dragon Ball to Freeza only to be overwhelmed by his power. He uses his ability to switch bodies, but is unable to use Goku's power. After being battered by Gohan, Kuririn, and Vegeta, he tries to switch with Vegeta twice. The first time Goku, in Ginyu's body jumps in the way, and the second time Goku throws a Namekian frog in his way. Unable to speak, he cannot transfer into a new body. However, when Bulma accidentally and unknowingly translates his frog speech, he is transferred into her body. However, he is later transferred back into the frog's body when he attempted to switch bodies with Piccolo. Gohan threw the frog (who was actually Bulma) in Ginyu's way, and Ginyu went back to being a frog. Ginyu was transported to Earth along with everyone else when Dende asked Porunga to transport everyone but Goku and Frieza there. He is last seen living with normal earth-frogs in the frog pond at the Capsule Corporation compound.
(FUNimation dub: Guldo)
Gurd (グルド, Gurudo) is the smallest and least powerful member of the team physically. Though clearly the weakest member of the group, Gurd possesses some psychic abilities, including being able to stop time for as long as he can hold his breath. He fights Gohan and Kuririn, and nearly kills them before being decapitated then blown up by Vegeta.

Jheese (ジース, Jīsu) is an extremely flamboyant and showy, often portrayed as the rookie of the Ginyu Force, white-haired alien who appears human apart from his red skin. His precise strength is difficult to determine, although he is clearly at least as powerful as Butta, who he often partners up with for combination attacks. He speaks with a quasi-Australian/Cockney accent. Due to his red skin, Langdon boasts the nickname Red Magma. He runs away to get Ginyu after Goku easily beats Butta. Soon after, he fights, and is killed by Vegeta. his name is a pun on cheese.
(FUNimation dub: Recoome)
Reacoom (リクーム, Rikūmu) is a large, muscular human-like alien with red hair. He is the most flamboyant member of the Ginyu Force, seen striking poses more often in battle than Captain Ginyu himself, and generally behaving in a deceptively goofy manner. However, Reacoom is actually fairly intelligent, not to mention sadistic, as he greatly enjoys toying with his opponents and egging them on with taunts. He toys around with Vegeta, Gohan, and Kuririn, almost killing all of them. Goku rescues them, and takes him out in one hit. Later, after Vegeta kills Butta, he also kills Reacoom, completely destroying his body with a huge ki blast.
Freeza family
King Cold (コルド大王, Korudo Daiō) is the father of Freeza and Coola. He appears briefly at the start of the Trunks Saga along with his now cyber-organic son to destroy Earth as revenge for Freeza's near death by Son Goku's hands. After Trunks shows up and easily dispatches Freeza, Cold offers Trunks the opportunity to take his son's place. His attempt at trickery against the mysterious youth fails, as once in possession of Trunks' sword Cold finds the Saiyan draws his power from elsewhere. Cold's pleas for mercy fall on deaf ears as Trunks quickly finishes him off.
King Cold later appears in the Buu saga alongside Freeza in Hell in which they are watching Goku fight Kid Buu.
King Cold is slated to be a playable character in the upcoming video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3, this will mark his first time being a playable character in a video game.
Kuriza (クリーザ, Kurīza) is the son of Freeza who shows up on Earth to cause some trouble in [[|Neko Majin|Neko Majin Z]]. He is brought by Onio to defeat Z, who had beaten Onio earlier. He claims him to be the "true" strongest in the universe, only to be rammed into the ground by an angry Neko Majin for having interrupted his battle with Thunderbolt, the alleged "strongest in the world." He tries to fight Z by transforming like his father. The fight is interrupted by the end of the manga. He decides to stay with Z until they can fight. He later cheers on Vegeta who came to rescue him, but Vegeta also reaches a stalemate with Z.
Majin beings
Majin grunts Babidi's many foot soldiers under his control; their attire resemble that of Pui Pui's. They really posed no threat to any of the Z Fighters. All of them were killed by the Z Fighters during their assault on Babidi's ship.
Pui Pui is a minion of Babidi, called a Majin, the guardian of level one in Babidi's Spaceship that housed Buu's cocoon. His home planet, Zoon, has a gravity of 10 G's, which he believes is an advantage against other fighters. However, Vegeta slaughters him without any effort because he had previously trained under 400 G's (450G's in the game Buu's fury). Pui Pui later makes a cameo appearance in the Super Android 17 Saga of Dragon Ball GT, where he is quickly killed by Goten while shooting a ki blast volley. In the English manga, he is referred to as Pocus.
Yakon is one of Babidi's majin minions. He is from a distant corner of the universe that has no light. He fights Son Goku on the second level of Babidi's spaceship. Yankon has the ability to feed off of energy attacks like the Kamehameha and strong ki auras like on from a Super Saiyan. Goku uses this ability to his advantage by powering up into a Super Saiyan 2 which overloaded Yakon with energy, causing him to explode.
Yakon later makes a cameo appearance in the Super Android 17 Saga of Dragon Ball GT along with Pui Pui, but they both are killed by Trunks and Goten.
Namekians
Lord Slug is the main antagonist of the fourth DBZ Movie, Lord Slug. He was one of the Ancient Nameks who discovered the key to unlocking a higher consciousness within. Known as Super Nameks, they soon became intoxicated by their new power and began to misuse it. With the power of the Dragon Balls, the people of Planet Namek were able to banish the Super Nameks from their planet for good, but the tyrannical Lord Slug continued conquering planets until he reached Earth where he used the Dragon Balls to restore his lost youth. Another part of his plan was to freeze the planet to make it a home for his soldiers, but in the end he was killed by Son Goku. It's interesting to note that in the Japanese version of Movie 4, Lord Slug doesn't tell people that he's a Namekian, and possibly doesn't even know. The back-story about Slug being a Super Namekian is added into the English dub, and isn't in the Japanese version. He is voiced by Yūsaku Yara and by Brice Armstrong in the English dub of the movie and Budokai Tenkaichi 2.
Lord Slug's Henchmen
Lord Slug's minions follow his orders and help him take over planets, and although they are of different species, each of them sports a short pair of devilish horns on their foreheads, and they are also incapable of withstanding levels of sunlight and warmth which are tolerable to Earthlings. They include:
- Angira, a blue-skinned being with blonde hair who bears a mild resemblance to Zarbon and who can extend his arms to great lengths, much in the manner of a Namekian. He dies in a fight with Goku when Goku knocks his own energy attack back at him and he accidentally swallows it.
- Dorodado, a large orange being with bat-like wings who resembles Dodoria (in both name and appearance). He doesn't appear to be very powerful, and he is easily killed by Piccolo after Piccolo goads him into a fight.
- Medamotcha, a small, green froglike alien with wild yellow eyes and an insane laugh. He possesses the ability to create multiple miniature versions of himself that sprout from his back and latch onto victims, draining them of their energy. He is (presumably) killed by Goku with a powerful punch to the stomach.
- Zeeun, a large, muscular man with long brown hair, Zeeun, despite being feature prominently on the poster artwork for the film, is in it only briefly. He is killed by Slug with a finger-beam through the torso, after he slips up and calls Slug old.
- Gyoshu and Kakuja, two short, hooded scientists who run Slug's ship. Gyoshu is killed by Slug for saying it would take too long to terra-freeze Earth, claiming he would need ten days. Kakuja, his replacement, manages to do it in less than three days. He later dies when Slug accidentally destroys the ship while trying to hit Gohan.
- Slug also employs several identically-dressed soldiers who first appear wearing helmets that cover their entire heads. When their helmets are removed, they resemble purple versions of one of Freeza's four henchmen Bardock fought with from Bardock: The Father of Goku. Most of them are killed by Gohan and Piccolo; the rest are killed by Slug for running away from Goku, or when Slug accidentally destroys the ship.
Other Namekians
Nail (ネイル, Neiru) is a Namekian who looks exactly like Piccolo, apart from the uniform. He is described as the last fighter class Namekian left. He is the personal bodyguard to Saichoro (Guru), and was the strongest Namekian left on the planet. His official maximum fighting power is 42,000, as stated by Freeza.
During the Freeza Saga, Nail had to stall Freeza by himself in order to prevent him from obtaining the passcode to unlock the Dragonballs, gaining immortality, and possibly killing Saichoro. Even though Freeza was in his lowest power level, Nail was no match for the tyrant, and even lost an arm (which he regenerated using Sai Sei) during the battle. Before Freeza could finish Nail off, Nail revealed that this fight was to delay Freeza so Dende could get the Namek Dragon Ball's password to the Earthlings, Kuririn and Son Gohan. An enraged Freeza immediately left and Nail is left for dead on the ground.
Shortly afterwards a newly resurrected Piccolo arrives and finds the disabled Namek. Nail is still able to speak, and asks Piccolo to fuse with him in order to increase his chances against Freeza, and at the same time save his life. Piccolo agrees after some questioning of Nail's motives, and indeed his power level increases dramatically.
Nail is slated to appear as a playable character in the upcoming video game Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 3. This will be his first appearance as a playable character in a fighting game.
Piccolo
Moori (also sometimes spelled Muri) is the elder of the Namekian village that Kuririn and Gohan first saw Freeza attacking. His fighting power isn't high, but he is very clever. He manages to destroy all of Freeza's scouters. This causes Freeza's collection of the Dragon Balls to be seriously delayed. Freeza later orders Moori to be slain along with his younger brothers Dende and Cargo. It was revealed by Dende that all the current Namekians on the planet Namek are the direct children of Saichoro (Guru), and thus are all brothers. Dodoria carries out Freeza's order, and breaks Moori's neck with his bare hands.
Moori is included in the wish to bring back those killed by Freeza and his men. Shortly before Guru dies again, he names Moori as the new Great Elder, saying that the Dragon Balls will shine again. Moori and his people eventually travel to a new planet similar to Namek with the help of the Dragon Balls. Moori appears again in the Buu Saga, when the Namekian Dragon Balls are needed to solve the Majin Buu crisis. It is revealed that because of Freeza's past attack on Namek, that Moori has powered up Namek's dragon Porunga — giving Porunga the ability to bring multiple people back to life with one wish.

Saichoro (最長老, Saichōrō) (saichō-rō "longest aged" or "eldest") is the oldest and wisest remaining Namek in existence and the 1 of the 2 survivors of a cataclysmic climate shift several hundred years prior to the events in the series (The other being Piccolo Daimao). All current Nameks alive on the planet are descended from him. (It was revealed that he had at least 108 children, though some may not have still been alive at the time of the Freeza Saga. Piccolo / Kami are descended from a Namek that died in the cataclysm: Katatsu.) He was also in control of the Dragonballs of Planet Namek (though he may not have created them). He had many powers similar to that of Kami on Earth, but it is never stated whether he was the local Kami of Namek. When he eventually dies, the Dragon Balls become solid stone.

Baby
(FUNimation dub: Doctor Myuu)
Dr. Myu (ミュー, Dr. Myū) is a brilliant scientist who desires nothing more than total control of the galaxy. Dr. Myu masterminds the plot to build an ultimate machine mutant with enough power to see his sinister goal of control through to the end. To this end, he created a powerful enforcer named General Rilld, and tried to gather the Black Star Dragon Balls to use them to complete his creation, Baby, and use it to take over the universe. However, Goku, Pan, and Trunks got past Rilld and foiled Myu's plans. Dr. Myu escaped, but was killed when Baby burst out of his body. It was revealed then that Baby was actually the one that programmed Dr. Myu, and not the other way around.
Dr. Myu later joins forces with Dr. Gero in Dragon Ball GT and creates another artificial human, who controls the original Android 17 and converges their powers together to set a rift between Earth and Hell. Hell's 17 and the two scientists escape, following which the two 17s eventually fuse together to become Super 17. Super 17 betrays and kills Gero thanks to Myu's programming changes, then goes on to dominate the Z Fighters (including Super Saiyan 4 Goku thanks to his absorption field ability) that Myu truly believes he can take over the universe, until Android 18 shows up and gets in his head by appealing to his sense of self.
Myu, in anger at 18's apparent influence, orders Super 17 to destroy Goku and 18 with his Electro Eclipse Bomb attack so as to show them "who he really is" and that he "can't be manipulated or controlled". However, 17 turns on Myu, the very man who had been using him the entire time, and destroys him with the attack.
Dr. Raichi
A villain from the FC & PlayDia game, DBZ Gaiden: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans. This Tsufurujin releases destron gas on Earth, which makes the Z-Fighters lose their ability to use ki attacks. They defeat the androids that guard the Destron generators, then Freeza, Coola, Lord Slug and Tullece show up. King Kai reveals to the heroes that they are ghost fighters sent by Dr. Raichi, and will continually re-materialize even when slain. The heroes eventually figure out that the villains must be defeated the same way they originally died (Freeza must be chopped in half, Slug must be weakened by whistling, etc). Attacking the Earth is all part of Dr. Raichi's plan to lure Goku, Gohan, Trunks and Vegeta (the last remaining saiyans) to the 'Dark Planet'. Once on the Dark Planet, they battle Dr. Raichi, whose only attack is barrier, and destroy him. He re-materializes and so our heroes learn that he too is a ghost fighter, generated by Hachihyaku. Vegeta destroys him again, blasting him to nothingness to prevent his re-materialization. He is named after Lychee.

General Rilld (リルド, Rirudo) is a machine mutant created by Doctor Myu in charge of security on his planet. When Goku, Pan, and Trunks arrive on the planet in search of the Black Star Dragon Balls, Rilld sends the Sigma Force to capture them. The Sigma Force are defeated by Goku and Trunks, leaving Rilld to take care of the two by himself. Using his special beam that turns things into metal, Rilld captures Trunks, but is still defeated by Goku. After combining with the remaining scraps of the Sigma Force, Rilld powers up to his Meta Rilld form, forcing Goku to transform into a Super Saiyan to fight him properly. As Goku begins to gain the upperhand, Rilld transforms again into Hyper Meta Rilld to allow him to fuse with any metal on the planet and make him nearly invincible. Despite this, Rilld is still defeated by Goku.
His name, Rilld (rirudo) is an anagram of "drill" (doriru) in the original Japanese version, playing on the fact that one of his hands transforms into a drill when he makes his initial transformation. FUNimation, however, chose to name him Rilldo instead.

Gill (ギル, Giru) is a Machine Mutant that accompanies Son Goku, Pan, and Trunks on their quest to find the Black Star Dragon Balls. The three first met him on a desert planet, while he was on the brink of death. After eating the Dragon Radar for energy, he tried to escape from them, but was ultimately caught by Goku. After that, they found out that the radar intergraded into his software. Upon arriving on the planet, M2, he betrays them.
Hachihyaku
A machine from the Famicom & PlayDia game, Dragon Ball Z Gaiden: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans built by Dr. Raichi. His plan was to use Hachihyaku to get revenge on the Saiyans. Hachihyaku is a device powered by the hate of the Tsufurujin. He is first used to generate ghost warriors until he manifests in a powerful android body. Hachihyaku devastated the heroes, until the Super Saiyans all combined their powers together into one massive wave of energy that defeated him, ending the threat of the ghost warriors. His name is Japanese for 800, and read backwards is 108 (hyakuhachi), an auspicious number in many Asian cultures.
Minosha and Tapion
They are brothers who appear in the movie, Wrath of the Dragon. They were from the planet Konats, which was attacked and nearly destroyed by the monster Hirudegarn. Together, they sealed the two halves of Hirudegarn within themselves and were then sealed into two separate magical containers. To keep the monster from reviving, they were sent to different ends of the universe. Minosha, guardian of Hirudegarne's lower half, was freed by the evil magician Hoi and killed by Hirudegarn. Tapion, guardian of Hirudegarn's top half, wound up on Earth. Hoi, now in control of Hirudegarn's lower half, tricked the Z-Fighters into wishing for Shenlong to open the box and release Tapion. Outside of the box, Tapion could not contain Hirudegarn, as the monster's proximity to its other half gave it power. The monster rejoined with its other half, but Tapion attempted once more to contain it and have Trunks kill him. Trunks hesitated and the monster is again freed. After Goku defeated Hirudegarn, Tapion gave his sword to Trunks. Bulma gives Tapion a time machine, and he travels back to his home planet to be with his brother.
Ozotto appears as the final opponent in the arcade game DBZ: V.R.V.S. and has the power to shapeshift into certain Z-Fighters. He also uses his tail to attack. He is nicknamed "The Super Monster". He hasn't appeared anywhere else in the DBZ universe and is exclusive to this game.

Paikuhan (パイクーハン, Paikuhan) is of an unknown species from the West Galaxy and is the West Kaiō's best student. Like several other filler characters, Paikuhan was designed by Akira Toriyama; his name is also a pun on food: Taiwanese Sparerib Rice (排骨飯 páigú fàn). Paikuhan met Son Goku in the afterlife and beat Perfect Cell, Freeza, and numerous others during an uprising in Hell with relative ease. He fought Goku in the final match of the Afterlife Tournament and, upon having the match result in a draw, struck up a friendship with Goku. He later makes the mistake of taunting Kid Buu, almost resulting in his being wiped out of existence. He appears again in the twelfth Dragon Ball Z movie helping Goku defeat Janemba, eventually holding off Janemba by himself to give Goku time to become Gogeta.
Paikuhan has appeared as a playable character in Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai and Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi 2. Paikuhan also has to be fought in Dragon Ball Z: Buu's Fury. His seiyū is Hikaru Midorikawa. He is voiced by Kyle Hebert in the Funimation dub and Brian Drummond in the Ocean Group dub.
Raiti and Zacro
They are both shape-shifters. They are trapped on a deserted planet. After seeing Gohan, Bulma, and Kuririn land on the planet, they trick them into thinking they are Namekians and that they are on the Planet Namek. They lead the heroes on a chase for the "Dragon Balls" hoping to get an opportunity to escape the planet on their spaceship.
Neither Raiti or Zacro appeared in the original manga, being anime-only filler characters for the Namek Saga.
Saibaimen
Small, humanoid creatures, they were used by the Saiyans for the purpose of training. During the battle with Nappa, six were grown in the Earth's soil to attack the defending Z-Fighters. One was killed by Vegeta after failing to defeat Tien, another had no choice but to use the self-destruct attack on Yamcha in order to win, three were killed by Kuririn's raining energy blasts, and the remaining one was killed by Piccolo after it was weakened by Kuririn's energy blast. They later appear in Dragon Ball GT as they escaped from Hell, but they are taken down easily by Goten and Trunks.
Saibaimen have very sharp claws, the ability to shoot a stream of acid from the top of their head, and can self-destruct like a bomb. Some compare them to the Cell Juniors, as they have a similar role. In Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, Dr. Gero has a group of differently-colored Saibaimen called the Saiba Rangers, obviously a parodious reference to the Power Rangers.
The Sigma Force was a group of four robots that act as Rilld's soldiers. They had the ability to merge with Rilld to make him much stronger. They could also fuse together into one mechanized being and perform "The Sigma Force Cannon." The group consists of Commander Nezi, Bizu, Natt, and John Key.
Tsufurujin
(FUNimation dub: Tuffles)
Long ago, this race lived peacefully on their planet called Planet Plant. They possessed a very advanced civilization, and lived in high-tech cities across the planet. Their neighbors, the Saiyans, were a rugged race of barbarians who resided in the wastelands. The two native races of the planet lived side-by-side until the Saiyans decided to attack. The Saiyans declared war on the Tsufurujin, and although the Saiyans were physically much stronger, the Tsufurujin technology meant they had the upper hand in the war, until the full moon came up, an event that only happens on the planet once every 100 years. The Saiyans' ability to transform into Ozaru whenever they are exposed to moonlight makes become ten times more powerful, and allowed them to easily defeated the Tsufurujin. They took over the planet and renamed it Vegeta, after their king.
Tullece's henchmen
They serve Tullece during his attempt to plant the Tree of Might during the movie, The Tree of Might. All of their names are puns off of different nuts and beans. Tullece' team includes Amond, a tall, muscular human-like alien who (perhaps unintentionally) resembles Reacoom from the Ginyu Force but with Zarbon's hairstyle, Kakao, a pink and silver cyborg with powerful thrusters and jetpacks installed into his armor, Daīzu, a moderately short green-haired man with a ponytail, and Rezun and Rakasei, a pair of short purple identical twins with the ability to combine their bodies to form a single entity. They fight against (and defeat) all of Goku's friends, before ganging up on Goku himself. After a short fight, Goku powers up immensely and defeats each of them with a single hit, and they all fall down around him. Whether or not they are killed is never stated.
Yardrat
This race was first met by Goku after the defeat of Freeza on Planet Namek. He arrived in an abandoned Ginyu pod that had already been pre-programmed for Yardratt. It is likely that the Ginyu Force were planning to destroy the Yardrats had they not been defeated on Namek. They are a physically weak race, but possess the ability to manipulate space and time, and teach Goku the Shunkanidou technique. In the video game Dragon Ball Z Sagas, an original character of the race is created; Soba (another food pun, referring to Soba noodles), who has a sparring match with Goku just before he departs for Earth.
