Hey Phoenix, just to let you know that Question 6 on [[Wikipedia:Requests_for_adminship/Camaron1|Camaron1]]s RFA, isn't completed. :) (And by the way, I'll be undergoing my second experience there next month, so watch out for it!) Could you upload Image:Yes check.svg? I can't seem to render it properly on wikihelp. Thanks in advance. Best, — Rudget contributions 14:14, 2 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use images in userspace

I've removed some fair use images from User:Phoenix-wiki/Workshop/1, as they are prohibited per WP:NFC. Thanks, Qst 22:55, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re. Barnstar

Wow thank you! I'll put it on my userpage :) Redrocketboy 21:31, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I had to remove the references to answers.com and Wiktionary on said article, as they are user submitted websites, and not considered to be reliable. Thanks. Redrocketboy 22:08, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Answers.com is an exact duplicate of Wikipeduia, and wikitionary is reliable as all definitions there should be referenced. Qst 15:47, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I could very well go and edit Wiktionary right now, to make it say something different. Thus, unreliable. Redrocketboy 15:49, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, indeed — however Wiktionary, like Wikipedia is an open project, thus meaning they follow the same policies about referencing as we should. Wiktionary is a reliable source, in my view. Anyway, never mind :) Qst 16:42, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great success!

AWB edit summaries

Hello Phoenix-wiki. I just wanted to point out that AWB is using inappropriate edit summaries for the Russia articles you are currently creating. —Travistalk 16:08, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. Somone pointed that out to me on irc, and I've fixed them for the next run--Phoenix-wiki talk · contribs 16:21, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Russia geo stubs

Please can you categorize them like I have done to Mazovo -either this or Category:Rural localities in Tver Oblast. Your're not even using the correct stub categories. See Template:Northwest-Russia-geo-stub etc. ♦ Sir Blofeld ♦ Talk? 19:29, 15 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Phoenix, hi there! Why are you starting articles on microscopic towns and villages in Russia? Do you have a particular interest in them and plan to add more information or you just found some Encarta Atlas and decided to copy everything there is in it? No offense, I'm just curious. RE:Your comments

Hey Phoenix. I've left some comments regarding your support in Jhfireboy's RFA. Regards, Rt. 20:28, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Alright then. I appreciate your co-operation, because I know not every user would be so civil if another had voiced concern with an opinion. All the best, Rt. 20:59, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That is very kind of you, and I appreciate the offer. However, I am currently under the wing of Rlevse, as my admin coach, and I'd like to wait until 3 months have passed since my RFA in October. But I'd be happy to let you do a co-nom. If you want, that is. :) Regards, Rt. 21:16, 17 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Your bot

I had to block your bot. Please see User_talk:Phoenix-bot#Russian "towns" for details. Thanks.—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 17:46, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What did you block my bot for? I stopped it running three days ago, and it won't be run again because another user convinced me it was a bad idea. It hasn't edited for three days and there was no threat of anything happening. Please unblock it, it was in trial at the time and I'm not going to get it approved but I might want it for another task at another time--Phoenix-wiki talk · contribs 17:57, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Blocking was just an emergency precaution in case the bot started to run again. It is now unblocked. Thanks for your prompt reply. If you plan to continue running the bot for this task in future, please let me know—I may be able to provide a few pointers so this disaster does not happen again (did you know that there are close to 200,000 inhabited localities in Russia? Boy am I glad your bot only created a few dozen stubs :)) Cheers,—Ëzhiki (Igels Hérissonovich Ïzhakoff-Amursky) • (yo?); 18:01, 18 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
