:I came to that article based on someone posting at [[WP:RFPP|requests for page protection]] that there was disruptive editing going on at that page. In reviewing the recent edits to the article, I saw that many people were violating the [[WP:BLP|biographies of living persons]] policy by making statements calling him and his brother inappropriate names, etc. As the BLP policy states, all additions to an article about a living person ''must'' include a valid citation for any controversial material -- basically, you have to prove what you're adding to the article. Also, you can't call people names etc., that's vandalism.

Enquiry: Sam Adeyemi

Hi Darkwind, while attempting to create a page for Sam Adeyemi, I was notified that you previously deleted or moved a page with the same name.

Please confirm the reason for the previous deletion or move, so I can avoid repeating the same mistake. The subject of the article is the Pastor of a megachurch, an author of many books and a popular international motivational speaker. I was quite astonished to find that there was no Wikipedia page for him.

Looking forward to your feedback. Do have a wonderful day. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ProfParochus (talkcontribs) 02:37, 2 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@ProfParochus: Hello! Sorry for the delay in responding, I'm dealing with a personal injury and haven't been using my computer a lot.
I deleted that page in 2019 based on the results of a deletion discussion, which you can review at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sam Adeyemi; the people who participated in that discussion will have described their reasoning in detail there.
Given that the page is currently protected from creation, I suggest you create a draft of your proposed article (click for instructions) and then ask for it to be reviewed and published. –Darkwind (talk) 04:14, 10 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zach Deputy page

Greetings. Since there is no "talk" stream for the page, I figured I needed to ask you, because you put the lock on page. It looks like someone added that Zach Deputy was part of the mob at the US Capital, which Deputy proudly admitted in a long published interview. Why is that not allowed on the page, if he said it was true? (I'm asking as an incredibly sad fan of his.) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Paulehoffman (talkcontribs) 16:12, 14 January 2021 (UTC) --Paulehoffman (talk) 16:41, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! I'm sorry for the delay in answering you; I am dealing with a personal injury and haven't been using my computer.
I came to that article based on someone posting at requests for page protection that there was disruptive editing going on at that page. In reviewing the recent edits to the article, I saw that many people were violating the biographies of living persons policy by making statements calling him and his brother inappropriate names, etc. As the BLP policy states, all additions to an article about a living person must include a valid citation for any controversial material -- basically, you have to prove what you're adding to the article. Also, you can't call people names etc., that's vandalism.
In the future, if you encounter this situation, you can create a section on the talk page and put your proposed changes there, including your source, following the instructions at WP:ER. Someone will review the change and add it if it is appropriate.
