BabyRiki (Russian: Малышарики) is a Russian children's animated television series originated as a pre-school spinoff of Kikoriki.[3]
Premise
BabyRiki is an animated program targeted to entertain and teach concepts to three-year-old children. The show follows the adventures of Rosie, Krashy, ChiChi, Pandy, and Wally, toys that come to life in a child's bedroom. They explore and discover their world, making friends and learning new things along the way.
Characters
The characters are based on the Kikoriki characters.
Krashy – A blue bunny. He is a leader, who is optimistic, enthusiastic, social, communicative, curious. He is based on the Kikoriki character Krashy.
Chichi - A magenta hedgehog. He is serious and diligent. He loves order and quiet games. He builds the highest pyramids and always puts his toy cars away in their garage. He is based on the Kikoriki character Chiko.
Wally – A lavender sheep. He is shy and sensitive. He is based on the Kikoriki character of the same name.
Rosy – A pink pig. She loves to be in charge and often seeks attention however she can. She is based on the Kikoriki character Rosa.
Pandy – A panda. He is like a small hurricane tied up with a big bow! Pandy is smart, witty, cheerful — and crafty; always with a cunning plan. Hana a friend teamed up with krashy, Shroka (a villain discovered his fight).
Release
In Russia, the show can be seen across most major children's networks, such as Carousel.
The series aired on Movile's PlayKids and Splash's Kabillion in the United States, and ITVBe's LittleBe in the United Kingdom.[4][5]
The second series of 52 episodes is in production and was planned for completion by December 2018.[1]
