There are a lot of articles relating to [[crystal structure]] and [[crystallography]] that I'm not all that happy about. The crystal structure and crystallography articles themselves are not too bad, but articles like [[Space group]], [[point group]], [[crystal system]] and [[crystal class]] are all articles I would like to see reworked. Probably along with the ones on [[screw axis]] and [[glide plane]] although I haven't checked these out. Also, the articles on electron/neutron/X_ray based diffraction techniques and crystallography are either missing or need a lot of work. These are really big tasks and I'm not ready to start with this on my own, I'm especially worried that the mathematics in articles on point/space groups would be too sloppy if I did it myself (although I'm not sure the mathematics should play all that big a role in these articles). Also, I don't really work all that much with X-ray and neutron diffraction... But if anyone else out there with interest in/knowledge about these subjects want to lend a hand, maybe we could collaborate? Leave a message on my [[User_talk:Oysteinp|talk page]]. |
