This article has no mention of their role in N-glycans which is a bit of an oversite. Two GlcNAc exist automatically at the standard core of all human (and many other mammals) N-glycans, and additional GlcNac can be added further on in the down-stream branching of said glycans as well. |

N-glycans
This article has no mention of their role in N-glycans which is a bit of an oversite. Two GlcNAc exist automatically at the standard core of all human (and many other mammals) N-glycans, and additional GlcNac can be added further on in the down-stream branching of said glycans as well.
