Sky (Russian: Небо, romanized: Nebo) is an upcoming Russian aviation action war film written and directed by Igor Kopylov, telling about the Russian military in Syria.
In the center of the story are three main characters - Lieutenant Colonel Soshnikov (Igor Petrenko), Captain Muravyov (Ivan Batarev), and Major Zakharov (Sergey Gubanov). Three different characters, three different fates, which are destined to converge at the Khmeimim Air Base.
Mission "Sky" is scheduled to be theatrically released on October 7, 2021 by Central Partnership.[1][2]
Plot
The film tells about three completely different people who converge at the Khmeimim military base.[3]

Production
The film was produced by the 3xMedia or Three x Media film company together with the Russian Ministry of Defense.
Filming
Principal photography began in the Republic of Crimea in October 2020; later they went to Syria, Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Lipetsk, including at the existing facilities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.[4]

Mission Sky is scheduled to be released in the Russian Federation by Central Partnership on October 7, 2021.
