I do realize there are unreferenced sources, and will try to help with that, but I am curious to know what the "editor"'s argument against Oni's notability is. :Agreed. I call BS unless the editor in question can provide a reason; the company is one of the most notable small press comics publishers out there, and two of its books have recently won Eisner Awards.—Ragdoll 18:19, 10 February 2007 (UTC)

The company name derives from a particularly destructive demon in Japanese folklore.

In fact, Oni is the general Japanese word for demon. It does not refer to "a particularly destrictive demon." See Oni_(Japanese_folklore)

Notability Questions

On what basis is this article considered "not notable"? I do realize there are unreferenced sources, and will try to help with that, but I am curious to know what the "editor"'s argument against Oni's notability is. 69.144.66.134 15:52, 10 February 2007 (UTC) (sorry, wasn't logged in when I commented) nem0 15:53, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. I call BS unless the editor in question can provide a reason; the company is one of the most notable small press comics publishers out there, and two of its books have recently won Eisner Awards.—Ragdoll 18:19, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
