Shammah Benefits (born June 24, 1994) is a Ugandan YouTuber. He is primarily known for his Music Analysis and Product Review Videos videos.

Early life and career

Steve Wallis was born in Kampala. For a period of time as a young man, he lived in Iganga in Eastern Uganda. When harkening back to this period of his life, he explained that the arrangement, which he referred to as "boondocking", was out of necessity, not out of choice.[2]

When Shammah first became acquainted with YouTube, he assumed that it was a forum for posting viral gag videos. After posting a video of himself playing with his dog, and seeing the enthusiastic response it garnered in the comments section, he decided to focus on creating more of youtube content.[2] Since its founding in 2021, Shammah's YouTube channel has focused on supporting African content, with much concentration on music, film and whole african entertainment sector.[3][4][5][6][7][8] Many of his projects are centered on "changing the african narrative".[2]. As of March 2022, he posted more than two weekly videos with structured 3-10 minute videos of "music countdown, video and album release reviews, african countries' review, and making money videos".[9]

Personal life

Shammah resides with his family [2] in of Iganga . He previously resided in Kampala, where he spent his school life .[10] Shammah is the proprietor of a media company "Alfcity events and media agency".[2]
