== Mindset on “What Women Want” ==

In an early 2000 era I want to know how he understood the role and the way to play it; and if no one hears of the movie; I recommend you check it out when you can. It’s very eye opening to understand the difference between gender equality and gender as separate beings. And if Mel Gibson himself ever sees this in the world of today; #futureera I sure to hope he gives a response to my question at play.

How was you so woke to playing the role of this movie and how did it change your mind of how to view the world afterwards.

I’m excited to see what my response may generate to the world of new users to the #Lifeoftechnology extends to reach out to the world [[Special:Contributions/69.178.2.113|69.178.2.113]] ([[User talk:69.178.2.113|talk]]) 04:40, 18 May 2022 (UTC)

Childhood in Sydney

This link has some paragraphs about Mel Gibson: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/nostalgic-facebook-group-you-grew-up-around-hornsby-if-you-remember-stirs-up-memories-of-suburbs-past/news-story/749405457342cd844bc2960dfce46a5b

Mel Gibson lived in Mt Kuring-gai and my nana played bingo with his mum

Gibson went to high school at St Leo's and Asquith Boys and had haircuts from Dominic in Asquith.

My daughters boyfriends father went to school with him at Leo's and was a good mate

Hutton swiftly found a property in the Mount Kuring-gai area just north of the city and set about finding schools for his younger children

St Leo's College was located in the quiet, leafy suburb of Wahroonga ... But inside St Leo's, a spirit-crushing regime ruled

At the Asquith High School, Mel encountered the same sort of 'Yank' taunts

Filmography is very incomplete

Filmography mentioned here seems very incomplete. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000154/ gives a complete list. E.g. his lead role in the recent movie The Professor and the Madman would certainly deserve a mention. — Preceding unsigned comment added by U0008355 (talkcontribs) 08:22, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

If you can provide what's missing along with a credible news source, I am willing to look into it and add.Expertwikiguy (talk) 21:16, 29 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Were_Soldiers should be in here, one of the best as well. 65.111.118.57 (talk) 20:59, 13 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Controversies section

I think it would be best to not have a section titled "Controversies" in a WP:BLP. It seems Gibson has owned up to his behavior, and especially as he was drinking in all these instances, it seems the subsection "alcoholism and legal issues" covers things fairly well. The GLAAD issues have links so they are highlighted and won't get lost in the mix. This period in his life seems to be over. He talks about it freely. Apparently he made amends to GLAAD and others. I don't see evidence that these are on-going behaviors so the controversies are settled and done. Using that word to head a section seems heavy handed overkill. I'm not saying delete all those bits. Just get rid of the section heading and leave it as a continuation of the Alcohol and Legal Issues subsection. It's just a suggestion but I think there should be more consideration for BLP's. And the bits where he's quoting Catholic dogma, the wife can't get into Heaven because she's not Catholic, etc., apparently he's come around on that. You know, you grow, as George Carlin would say. Semi-protected edit request on 10 April 2022

Gibson is most famous for his lead role in Braveheart, playing the great Scottish freedom fighter,William Wallace. He is now synonymous with Scotland, and their ever lasting fight for freedom. 82.132.216.131 (talk) 02:13, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
